This amount of rolling stock is any g scaler who wants to have a railroad in which to do operations dream, myself included. Killer collection, and the custom stuff looks awesome.
Wow fantastic collection my 3 rail O scale occupies a 16 ft x 20 ft storage building so needless to say I have done all I can do in it,now is the time to go a different direction I will now start a G scale layout in my backyard using USA Trains and tge railpro system, definitely will be a new and challenging experience. I like how you used wood fence pickets as your sub bed definitely a less expensive alternative to the traditional style thank you for sharing you must have a heck of a basement to house all this equipment do you have any videos showing the actual layout and the trains operating, consider me a subscriber Best regards, J.R.
Yes, you have a physiological problem and we all share this with you. I like your rolling stock and specially your modified Lokos - they are very beautiful. This sense of beauty, you cant make anybody else understandable. Think about that when your wife wants to buy another pair of shoes!!! But dont worry, we all understand you and we are with you😉
I really appreciate this video, it's very helpful. Now when I or my wife feel like I have a problem with my collecting I can just watch this video again or show it to my wife and say "honey just chill, think of this guy's wife"
I think I went through about 25 revisions to get where I liked what I was printing. I started with fusion 360 and just hit TH-cam and typed fusion 360 tutorial. I recommend a large resin printer like the EPAX x 156. Or the e10. Being able to print large pieces in one shot is a game changer.
Hi Jonathan, I had the same problem when I had my trains indoors in the flat. Now that I run them outside I built a shed that is integrated into the loop of the layout. Now I don't have to handle a single car manually anymore. Impressive roster by the way...
You cant explain passion, either one has it or not! You can bring it close to her with comparismemt! Maybe she has a passion for horses or she is collecting shoes??? This is what I do and at least she won't complain anymore
You have a major problem, but I think I can help. Lol. Really puts into perspective how much you really have. Need to build a rail yard now. Your own “Bailey yard”.
Yes Johnathan. You do have a serious addiction, and you are on the edge of the cliff. But rest assure you are not the only one with this addiction, in fact, I’m right behind you! Regarding my wife, I always bragged on the fact that I never paid full price for any of my trains, which is true, from a certain perspective. But in this day and age, it’s so much easier to justify the enormous amount of trains, especially when my wife realizes that much of my collection has tripled in price. Having said that, maybe I’d better check if she’s added or increased my life insurance policies! 😝. Great collection! Enjoy.
Do you ever leave rolling stock out over night or for longer periods of time? Im new to g scale and was wondering about any problems leaving them in the sun or bits of rain
You don’t mention how long you’ve been addicted. I’d wager it’s decades. So your average money spent per month is minimal. Besides, when you’re home playing choo-choo, your wife knows where you are and what you are doing! There are wives who would kill for that. I’ve been in G scale for three years. I cringe at what I have spent so far...& what will be spent in the very near future. (Can’t take it with you.) $$$
Feed the addiction
I'm not alone 😏 thanks for sharing Jonathan 👍
Incredible collection.
Love the overhead trains
No wonder I can't get any Intermodals you have them all
LoL, I think usa trains made more than 30.
We have almost built the same type of layout but in 3 rail o scale here in texas!! Awsome collection. Subbed your channel!

Like the new update with loads of detail.

The only problem I see is you need more room.nice collection
I wanna see the GG1 in action
the track alone is $8/ft… you’ve got to be near 100k all in.
I don't see any problems.

Now I know why all the stores are out of stock of G scale Loco's!! 😋
It's an addiction but not bad for your health just your bank balance.
With the value of the dollar and the prices of this lately… he might have made great investments
That is a great collection. Your custom stuff really shines.

My wife looks at all the trains laying around the house and says, "I don't understand all this." And I don't know how to explain the addiction to her.

My wife has 25 purses. But that's different. Hmmm
"For those who understand, no explanation is necessary; but for those who don't, no explanation is possible."
I have the same problem in o scale. The next house will have an outdoor g scale layout as well as the indoor o scale layout. Everything looks great
Thank you, my next house will have a large shop to store all this stuff.
I think we are all guilty of this.
Hi Johnathon how do I purchase your stunning models?
Hey Johnathan, where did you get your decals? I built a tunnel motor ten years ago. Time to finish it.
You have a major problem, but I think I can help. Lol. Really puts into perspective how much you really have. Need to build a rail yard now. Your own “Bailey yard”.

This is a Serious problem!!!!.............YOU CAN'T NOT SHOW US YOUR BIGBOY COME ON????
I wish I would have now. It weighs 80 lbs but it's worth every pound.
@@jbhuse 80pounds of pure beauty
Hey wayment. Where the LITERAL F&^K did you get a G-scale DDA40X?!?
I was wondering where can a guy get some of the covered hoppers in G scale? You just don’t see them for sale anywhere.
I haven't seen one for sale for a long time. I picked up most of mine about 10 years ago. When you do find them they are extremely expensive.
Do you ever leave rolling stock out over night or for longer periods of time? Im new to g scale and was wondering about any problems leaving them in the sun or bits of rain
The rain will not hurt them but I always bring them in every night.
@@jbhuse thank you!
I know it is addicted
You poor soul! I’m afraid there’s no cure, but if I can help in any way, like taking that AMS log car off your hands ;) I’m here to help!
Where is the DD40 from.
I made it.
do you sell your 3d files
