Into the Kaokoland Wilderness

A 4x4 trip around Kaokoland in the remote northwest of Namibia, October 2022, with Kunene Tours and Safaris, visiting Opuwo, Kunene River Lodge, Dorsland Trekker Memorial, Epupa Falls, Van Zyl’s Pass, Marienfluss, Hartmann Valley, Red Drum, Etambura, Skeleton Coast, Hoarusib Canyon, the ‘Clay Castles’, Purros, and Khowarib Lodge, featuring Himba and Herero people, the stonemen of Kaokoland, Hoanib elephants, giraffe, deserts and scrub, etc. An unforgettable trip to one of the most remote parts of Africa.

It was the 8 day Kaokoland Classic Safari, with Kunene Tours. I think they can tailor most requests.
