I have my dad's cars from 1967-1969. 2 cases about 40 in total with a bunch of buttons. Just holding onto them to pass down to my son when old enough.

If you send pics of the collection I can give you the current value and let you know if there is anything in the collection that has extra value. Most collections have one or two higher value models. In the mean time you should check out some of the videos on YT called "Hot Wheels Unboxing G Case" for instance. The letters change during the year. Share those videos with your son so that when you guys go to the store you can know what to look for. Even when a store has a thousand Hot Wheels on display you are unlikely to find the good ones unless you know what to look for. Every case of hot wheels has only a few really good models. Oh and kids are very picky about which hot wheels car they want. Thanks! See my website for email details www.toycarcollector.com

I'd rather spend $1200 on hot wheels, not on a phone! 😊

Love the old original cars ..oldest survived hot wheels i have is a 74 warpath ..
Just yesterday my guy at the flemarket sold me something undeliverable
Dident know the year till i gor it home an cleaned it ...carefully ...dreaded ..yuck spots
    but a straight survivor.
12 car case with a pop up track grandstand..you are supposed to lay it flat an attach your track to the built in Vinyl.Tabs on the front of the case
Trademark is 1967 !!! The dawn of hotwheels
    All stickers intact too
Nevermind the awsome old action artwork ..painted by hand by Mr OTTO himself first .
The case artwork is allways my favorite even matchbox car cases had great art too back in the day .

I wish I had the foresight to buy the original Hot Wheels cars. I was mainly into Matchbox and Corgi back in the 60s and that's what I still have. Too late to get into classic Hot Wheels now. In fact, the Hot Wheels are for some reason more expensive than the old Matchbox and Corgi.
