Jeep FC 4 Speed Transmission Shifter

Explanation of components used in the Jeep FC 170 T-98 4 speed shifter and how it functions. Covers primarily the FC170 4speed shifter set up, the FC 150 is similar. I believe the only difference is length and routing of the shift tube.

Great video and explanation of this rare setup. The 4-speed shifter on my FC has a modified linkage at the tranny that includes a small universal joint in place of the shifter ball. I need to rebuild the in cab shifter and will use this as a reference. Thanks,
