    How in the world did Beert (père) come across a genuine Chinese bamboo steamer--in 1620? Why is it filled with jelly or jam? Honestly, National Gallery, you always fill me with joy with these arty recreations. Thank you! I don't live far away--Arlington--and I hope to make it over the river more in 2024. (I'm a poet and don't know it!)
