I would love to see a social engineer/physical penetration tester react to the social engineering in Hitman. How he sneaks into places using disguises and such.
That be a cool experiment. I heard some people focus more on clothes over faces along with body language. Pretty much if you look and move like you belong in a certain place, then you'll blend in at least on a surface level.
Plus 47 is literally employed by the world's top contract killer agency that is known to have goverment agencies as clients...from that statement alone is a obvious sign how well funded the ICA is
Well mythbusters did a video on it. And certain calibers do make that sound. But the use of it for all is the biggest movie sin. A subsonic .22 with a proper suppressor is barely noticeable beyond a few meters (and in an urban environment blends easily to back ground noise), but a supersonic round is going to make a significant difference.
@@raynjpg Well to be fair, terms and such have evolved from common usage. I know some get ocd about suppressor vs silencer. Much like clip and magazine. But end of the day, the majority call them clips and silencers.

Fun little fact, if you play ghost recon wildlands, you can actually notice a bit of the point of impact discussion, as well as noticing a reduced muzzle velocity in game. Kinda fascinating honestly
Fun thing about the briefcase: it was a bug in Hitman 2 (which is where the level you're watching is from). They eventually fixed the bug so it would only go straight. Enough people spoke up in favour of the old one that they introduced the Homing Briefcase in an update and also brought it back for Hitman 3 (now renamed to Hitman: World of Assassination so you can buy and play the whole trilogy in one title). Edit: misquoted briefcase origin.
The fix wasn't that they made it only go straight. It's that it traveled faster since it was only traveling at half or a quarter speed or something like that. All thrown weapons in hitman are homing, they just travel fast enough for it not to look how the homing brief case does.
I appreciate Israel sort of taking on the roll of the viewer for these videos and asking questions that (I assume) he already knows the answer to just as a way of bringing up the kinds of questions people have about this stuff

amazing video guys!! the insight on the tranquilizer was amazing, i always had that question with me, because if that worked as intended we should have assault tranquilizer guns instead of normal weapons... 😆
Much the same applies to chloroform, which we see used at least once in this video. It'll take a minute or so to knock someone out, they will be panicked and fighting hard, and if you do get them unconscious then they'll probably be awake or dead within a few minutes anyway. There's a reason why anaesthetists are so highly trained, and why general anaesthetic /still/ poses a non-trivial risk of death even now. Bonus: the comic-book and Hollywood trope of punching someone's lights out? That's a guaranteed concussion right there, plus a pretty high chance of death.
8:26 You know the ironic thing about a military traq gun that works exactly like the movies? It would be banned by the Gevena Convention as a chemical weapon. lol
I'm from Ohio originally and now live in Texas, and ny friends are always stunned to see me in a t-shirt and shorts when it's above freezing, but we would go swimming in the winter up North. I feel some kinship with 47 and Paul there.

I was discussing the viability of using similar tranquilising methods on people with a friend who's a doctor, his basic answer was that you could definitely do it using something like benzodiazepine but you'd need to know the targets weight, metabolism and a few other factors such as alcohol/drug consumption to give a safe dose and even then it'd be a couple of minutes between (obvious) impact and unconsciousness. If you had a dose made up for a big hefty dude who was a habitual opiate user and you had to change targets to a skinny teenager at the last minute then you might as well use a bullet because he's likely never going to wake up and conversely if it was the other way around and you plug the big dude with a light dose you might as well not have bothered because while he'll be groggy he's definitely not going to sleepy town any time soon.
Interesting point about the custom 5mm, the in game description states it comes pre loaded with 5 caseless rounds and is disposable. As well as being undetectable in frisk points.
The OSS used a similar type of gun back in WW2 called the liberator it's basically a stamped sheet one shot pistol to be used by partisans so they can steal the guns off german soldiers they killed with it
50 cal round won't be throwing anyone backwards, but simply zip right through and move on the the next target behind them. That is unless they somehow manage to absorb all of the energy from the bullet into them and even then they wouldn't really fly away, since that would mean the shooter would also fly backwards when shooting.
These guys are technically former servicemen from the military soooo they have the skills to be one especially Israel since he used to be a Green beret one of the US army's premiere Special forces units

I like the idea of cultural sharing. I never liked the idea of people having to stay in their own lane. Now I have a word for it. Cultural sharing. Why would you need to be silent if you're shooting to defend yourself ?.... Only if you're doing something wrong you want to be discreet/unnoticed... Hence why it's illegal.
