Hi my friend. About the metal pins at the bottom of the legs (that you mention on your video 6:31), you can unscrew the ruber part on top of the metal pin to cover it
Kyle, you should be able to rotate the rubber feet on the K&F tripod, counter Clockwise until the rubber cover the metal point to be used indoors. check it out, Great video 👍
This is the video I didn't know I needed. An amazing concept for a review, comparing an item to what is considered to be the bare minimum for the best value! Awesome dude, just bought the s210 since I have my first Pro gig soon
Nice to see you back with a great vid. Thanks for the review, I have been wondering about that style of tripods for some time now (the S210). Edit: Removed a mention about the rubber feet and pointy metal since I see someone else already commented on it.
Great info Kyle. I have a couple of really old tripods that still do the job for me. One is super light and quick to set up but on the flimsy side while the other is heavy but very sturdy. The K&F looks really nice and I would buy it to replace my old ones. I bought their ND filter for my Sigma 16mm and the quality is fantastic.
Totally forgot to mention there are coupon codes! 😂 (affiliate links) 🔵 K&F Concept S210 - geni.us/KFConceptS210 ➡️ 7% OFF code: KF090087 valid until May, 31 2021 🔵 Tripod on K&F Web shop: bit.ly/39UD1BD ➡️ 10%OFF code: KF10US valid until May, 31 2021
On the S210 you can tighten the hex bolts at the top of the legs to stop them swinging out when carrying it. I have two different K & F tripods. One came with the legs tightened up, the other didn’t. Easy to fix.
i have a mi smart projector 2, which is fairly small and weights about 3.3lbs and i was looking for a tripod or stand to set it up on my room... obviously, being a "set it and forget it" kind of deal, i wasn't looking to spend much, so one of these amazon basics tripods is what i was thinking about getting. would you recommend it for that? the projector does have the 1/4 screw so i believe i could attach it to it... my main concern really is the stability... I don't want my projector to just straight up tip and break on the floor the other kinds of projector stands and what not that i could find are really just too overpriced for my budget, and i'm not looking to make holes on the wall to attach stuff to it either, hence the "camera tripod" route 😅
Any tripod would probably work. If the legs are locked should be good. Tripods are light, so a human could bump it over. If it’s off on it’s own it’s not gonna just tip.
Can you change heads on the S210? Ya know, for using the mono with something like a Go Pro for under water video and shots? Could you do a video on how to get videos off of the a6000? I usually just take the memory card out and use a reader to transfer to my computer. Can get the pictures off but not the videos like I can with my Sony H50. Maybe show how to do it with the memory card/reader AND with the usb cable? Thanks bunches.
A little late, but that missing feat could easily be 3D-printed :) - Great Video btw and thx for the comparison/review of the K&F PD: The pointy tips of the K&F have a hexagonal head, so I assume you can screw them off... LBNL: How is the K&F holding up to this point? Still good..?
Hi Kyle, do you still use this tripod? If yes, what is your long-term experience with it? I read a few comments that the ball head loosens up (with time or with heavy use), won't hold the camera, can drop it. I don't want to risk it. I need a horizontal arm tripod, but all of them are with ball head, so I don't know if I can trust them at all. Hopefully you have a long-term experience with this tripod. Thank you.
Not extensive outdoor use. A lot of indoor use for my videos. I think if you’re going to be a heavy user, multiple times a day, over years, maybe go for range of $100 and higher. For my use it’s done perfectly fine. Different shots in my studio, few times a week, not using full frame cameras, occasional use outside, I’ve had zero issues. If you’re worried, I’d spend the extra $$$ for a tripod.
My dream tripod and u got it for free. I wanna be you now, but for real. Thank you now i want it more than other days. Btw great content! If u dont have ideas for videos, dont worry, just remember me who is completly in the same position as u but i need ideas for art school. Have a nice day Kyle and keep it up!
Yeah when i heard its only 90 dollar i wanna buy it. But here, in my country its a bit different, because my country's money way worst than others and thats the reason why the tripod is more expensive for me.
After buying a ball head tripod I now hate them. They are so difficult to level and it's just super obnoxious. I totally would've gone for something else if I knew this.
Great video. Except imperial lbs metrics. Seriously are we in the middle ages. Use modern metrics kg that all people in the world will understand mate.
Hey mate, my country, the United States - uses lbs. So if I put stats, it’s most likely going to be that, and a lot of the times I include the grams if it’s listed in the product page.
@@kyletaggart thank you for your kind reply. I know that most peolple in daily life use old fashioned customary imperial units, but shortly after the American Civil War, the 39th United States Congress protected the use of the metric system in commerce with the Metric Act of 1866 and supplied each state with a set of standard metric weights and measures. Sorry but I work in science and there all US collegues use SI metric system. I know photography is not excatly science nevertheless it frustrates me 🙂
Someone else made a comment about the feet, but they actually informed me on rotating them. I liked their comment, it was helpful. Yours is some attempt to make me feel bad. Unsure why you felt the need to do that, but I'll be sure to check out some of your videos.

Just the video I needed. I will save up for K&F and buy it next month. Thanks Kyle.
Thank you Kyle, very helpful! The K&F was in my wishlist, I really needed your review!
Keep up the good work Kyle. I'm looking to get a diffuser for my flash maybe you could do a review of your diffuser.

Don't the rubber feet on the KF unscrew to cover the metal feet?
haha I had no idea. Someone else just told me!
This video is helpful thnx a lot!! BTW I just bought the a6000 and I already love it, keep up the good vids!! 👌🏾👌🏾
thanks bro!
Awesome, great video and nice to have u back...
Thanks so much! This was fun! 😊
I have had both and use the K&F one now. It is very well made and will probably last at least ten years.
Hi, I have the same k&f tripod, did you know that the rubber feet can screw out covering the spikes,
yes, you can use it indoors aswell.
