YES - I have had this thought as well - that these episodes each week are better than episodic television I used to watch over the years. In fact - at the point I got "hooked" on La Vagabonde - like a year ago - I went back to day one and BINGE watched every episode from the beginning. Not kidding. It was fun.
It has never struck me before how estranged from friends and family this kind of life can be. Riley has to fend off people just so Lenny can sleep and every place you stop is different but not home, I can really empathize with your frustration with this life.
I couldn't do it especially with kids but I more than throughly enjoy every second of all your videos and can't wait till the next one.. Thanks for all that you share with us, good or bad.
Yep, covid has stuffed up the entire world and has made it extremely difficult for live aboard cruisers to have that land reset with family and friends that is so very important to mental well being. Covid has affected many land dwellers in the same way where people are unable to connect and to catch up with their loved ones for that very important mental health reset. It’s difficult for everyone, but for the cruisers, half a world away from their love ones it is more so. Hope that they get the opportunity to reconnect soon with their families and friends.
The stress of this lockdown is getting to everyone. You don’t owe anyone any explanations of why you didn’t share two days of your life. Things will get better one day!

As a father of two now fully grown "boys" who were a lot like Lenny when they were his age...not to scare you, but learn how to do stitches so that when (not if) he falls and cuts himself on the chin or eyebrow you know what to do.
@@wmeuse2375 I like that idea, I have seen it used. When my youngest was little he would get stitches every 2 or 3 months. He even got stitches on vacation once...Lenny reminds me a lot of him. Sterry strips are good, we used them multiple times, but for really bad cuts our little guy got lots of stitches. The older one tended to break bones, but he got a few stitches.

Please don’t apologize. Your struggle is relatable to our struggles and that’s what makes the community so great. To be there for each other in times of need. We are just real people at the end of the day, good and bad. And I think it’s good that you’re open to sharing both sides with us.
I love the laughing and the smiles, but to be "real" we need to see reality. That includes the good and bad. It truly shows you are human in these vlogs and not just a weekly sitcom. I would love to see/hear just a little more of the "bad" times, just to contracts better with all of the lovely good times we see. Everyone has a little drama. As a father of two now fully grown "boys" who were a lot like Lenny when they were his age...not to scare you, but learn how to do stitches so that when (not if) he falls and cuts himself on the chin or eyebrow you know what to do.
Try zip mend or micromend available on Amazon for emergencies.
Just carry stri strips. They work easier then sewing stitches.
Or super glue
@@wmeuse2375 I like that idea, I have seen it used. When my youngest was little he would get stitches every 2 or 3 months. He even got stitches on vacation once...Lenny reminds me a lot of him. Sterry strips are good, we used them multiple times, but for really bad cuts our little guy got lots of stitches. The older one tended to break bones, but he got a few stitches.

Please don't ever apologize for the hard times. Life is life whether on land or on sea. By being open and honest it invites your viewers into your world in a unique way. While we can't be your 'family' really, it is a form of community while you are away from home and missing all the great things associated with that. You are indeed in a unique circumstance in a very unique and challenging time in the world and I am not surprised that you would be feeling the way you are, especially with a second child coming.
