Mine came with side bars on and they have never caused me any issue's and they look the dogs bits, question is where did you get the petrol flap cover from, It looks brill and would really go well with my shiny side bars, I'm searching already, helppppppp, ps your videos are so informative even I can do stuff, I just knew you were a Vet brother. 💂💂

They are Setscrews not Bolts. Bolts have a plain section and can have any type of head i.e. Cheese head. Setscrews are fully threaded. The front two are Cup Square Sets. p.s. ex Fastener Warehouse Manager.

Hi love the great content and that's a fantastic van, do you have any idea where I can get a fuel flap with the VW logo like the one on this van? The only one I can find online no longer comes with the logo

How does fitting these affect using the jacking points?

Does these bars get in the way of jacking up the vehicle 🤔.
    Thanks

    Hey hey,
    Another informative video 🤘🏽
Question: Is the installation process the same for the T5 and T6?

I was so sick and tired of having to remove my side bars to get my van jacked up I've removed them totally now, also sick of the side bars cutting up into the sill from being put on 2 post ramps. Look cool but thats about it, totally impractical as you can't jack you van up. Have to get a trolly jack on a corner of a jack point and run the risk of crushing a corner. Never again.

Going to be a bit more difficult to jack the van up now?

Yes the jack that comes with the T4 is useless once you fit sidebars.

I am a landscape photographer. Having my photography stand out is good.
My van? No thanks. Its size is enough for me to find it in the carpark, but looking like any other big Transit or Crafter or Sprinter or Ducato is good.

Noo don't encourage this ,theses are the biggest pain in the arse .hate working on t5s with side bars .wastes an hour before getting it up on a ramp
