    Wow. This is some of the best footage of tanks on TH-cam. Great close ups, great plants and no annoying voice overs. Really well done, thanks!

    This was an old tank, the temperature was about 27 to 28 degree C. We use aquarium fan for this setup.

    Maintenance would be plants trimming, water change/test, algae removal (if necessary) and nutrients dosage. For water change, usually change between 10 to 30% depending on the bioload or plants. Sometimes, we need not change water at all for months if plants absorb nitrate faster than fish can produce. Normally we will jus pump out the percentage of water required and top is back up with de-chorinated water.

    Most of our tanks are run by an external canister filter. We use hangon filter for smaller tanks though.

    @Aquaticstory  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yup, the plants are producing enough oxygen for the fish in the aquarium.

    We never clean the bottom since its always covered with plants and there are too many baby shrimps. All we do is to do water changes, removal of algae on glass (if any) and dosing of fertilizers.

    Hi. I believe for such fountain pump, the 'valve' to controlling the power/strength of the output caused vibration which causes the noise. Actually it is good to have strong filter/output. Why not try diverting the outflow or add a rainbar?

    Hi. Otocinclus and Bumble Horn Snail are algae eaters and they will not damage or harm aquatic plants. You can use them in your aquarium at ease. But please take note if you are using other snails because some snails eat plants with juicy leaves. E.g. Staurogyne .sp.

    Yup they are house together since they wont inter-bred or rather chance of them inter-breeding is extremely low. Yes, CRS are breeding in this tank but rather slowly. They do better in species tank, i.e. tank just for them alone.
