"True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost." Arthur Ashe
this is done really well. it almost seems like the movie was done around this song . as well it was kinda ironic. the preacher man was actually the out law. along with the cattleman just being one of preachers gang. and it was preacher man that had the ticket to hell coming to him. and he never actually embraces forgiveness. although he did allow him self to be captured by an honest farmer just trying keep his land. i also noticed that the clips were taken for all parts of the film. although i really like this.
Great song, great video. Clipped together well. Quick and the Dead would've been a better movie, though. Ironically, in that movie Russell Crowe played an ex-outlaw preacher
When a Preacher man pulls iron from his side..., he kin BLOW any lucy-fairy-an..., an', dee lucy-fairy-an's hole gottdamn clan - rattlesnake fast er no - an'..., duh pore, bewitched pony's day rode in on..., Clean..., away. Yez best not mess whit a missionary man.
Biggest problem I have with the film is the preacher took so long to draw and shoot those guys, while the other guy handles his scholfield so well and fast, with the shootout at the end he shouldn't have lost, though everyone has a bad day I guess
as a true Christian I follow jesus Christ's teachings the first is obey God's law! though shalt not "kill"., is one of those laws! those who seek to save there life will lose it!
Jesus himself carried a sword, killings should be avoided at all cost but some men deserve death, you're either blind or dumb if you can't agree as so.
When Jesus said, "Thou shalt not kill," He meant murder. Cold blood. Stabbing a man in the back. Etc. When it comes to defending yourself, or the people you love, then there's nothing wrong with it. That's why He told the disciples to get a sword. And that's why I know how to use a gun.
its Kinda hard to explain since the song doesn't actually follow the plot of the movie, I re-edited the movie to seem like it follows the plot of the song
I’ve never heard a song that needs a sequel
You fool, this is actually a sequel to Big Iron
Another brick in the wall
It really doesnt though
The song could easy be turned into an awesome old school western.
I wanna know how far his horse followed him.
I’ve listened to this song idk how many times in the last week or so but it never gets old. Wish there was more like this on the radio.
They play it on Pandora, under Cody Jinks Channel!
Unfortunately music industry doesn’t want this type of music
I know exactly what you mean 😂😂😂

I love that the movie is totally not like the song, with those characters... but it matches so well... wauw!
Yeah
"When a crime goes unpunished, the world is unbalanced. When a wrong is un-avenged, the heavens look down on us in shame."
47 Ronins.
High Plains Drifter would have been a touch better. Though this is an excellent retake on 3:10. Solid editing for sure
Wauw! This movie matches so good with the song! (Even if the main role is totally switched) Amazing editing!
Every time i come across this song in my playlist on amazon music, i pause it, come watch this video, then go back to my playlist. great job. :)
They should've made the video to Pale Rider. The 2 go together like peas and carrots.
except it aint a cow town, they're miners
Yes they were miners but it would fit that movie better than this one, Watch Pale Rider and listen to the words of this song closely. Just my opinion
A man without spirit is whipped... But a preacher? He could give them faith!
Quick and The Dead. Cort actually is a retired gunfighter preacher.

One of my favorite songs. Listen to it all the time on my playlist. Wish they play music like that on the radio.

Love the song. As far as the movie I still find it screwed up he killed his old gang even if they were being violent.
This video makes me see the movie so different

Is there other Versions of the song or something like this newer singer singing it
Biggest problem I have with the film is the preacher took so long to draw and shoot those guys, while the other guy handles his scholfield so well and fast, with the shootout at the end he shouldn't have lost, though everyone has a bad day I guess
I’m sure he drew his six shooter a lot faster than what it seems
They said the gun was cursed. Every man that held it died. No watch the ending. You're welcome.

John Dough, my question to you is, then why in the book of luke did jesus tell his disciples to sell they're clothes and buy a sword
Jesus himself carried a sword, killings should be avoided at all cost but some men deserve death, you're either blind or dumb if you can't agree as so.
Dunewolf Jr. Amen to that
When Jesus said, "Thou shalt not kill," He meant murder. Cold blood. Stabbing a man in the back. Etc. When it comes to defending yourself, or the people you love, then there's nothing wrong with it. That's why He told the disciples to get a sword. And that's why I know how to use a gun.
