Just found this video and love the techniques. I’m so glad older videos are still available for those just starting to stamp to have great learning tools for the basics. Thank you.
So true -- and I like that there's no "fear of missing out" since any products (stamps, dies, embossing folders) featured in older videos are out of date and probably no longer available.☺
I never thought of taking the labels off of the clear stamps that way. What a great idea!!! I love the technique of using the embossing folder with the frame folder. What a wonderful card!!!
Thanks so very much for making this very cool tutorial. The whole card making hobby is all about detail. Your way of explaining this particular double folder technique is the best around. AND that's what we're looking for. Thanks again!
Really neat technique! I'm looking forward to trying it. Always appreciate learning new ways to use my tools and supplies. And thanks! for the "bumps on the bottom" tip too. That will help a lot. The cards were Beautiful! TFS
This technique is super cool!! I cannot wait to try in some of my Christmas cards. Your card turned out absolutely lovely. Thank you so much for sharing and the inspiration. Taylor:)
Oh my that was a beautiful card and when I get some chipboard I will make a card like this I have 3 or 4 embossing folders thank you God Bless!!I in joyed your Tube this morining.
Love your video! You gave so many wonderful tips, i.e. putting stamps together correctly, using aqua painters, embossing, etc. GREAT JOB! I've subscribed :)
Ooh! So instead of investing in copics, I could have used my Ranger inks with the brush pen tool instead for a watercolor effect?? Genius! I went to the blog, but I'm still trying to figure out what that brush pen is. And I also think the SU inks are a different type than Ranger.
I'm new to stamping, and just began purchasing my own stamps. When you first take them out of the container, and put the design on the back, do they then stick to your stamping block? I'm assuming that's correct, though you didn't show it in the video.
deskjockie49 Sorry - I'm behind with my comments, due to my recent move across the country. For wood stamps I put the rubber on first then the decal (or vice versa - both work, as long as label isn't upside down with image when you stamp). For the clear stamps, I peel the backing off the labels first WITHOUT removing them from their sheet, then I line up rubber stamp on top of the sticky label and lift off. Works like a charm. Hope this helps! HAPPY STAMPING!
Hi, can you help me understand....the first piece was cut on the inside but then it says to make sure it includes the design so after embossing the cardboard what exactly do we cut out....the whole design? Did you do two? I'm very new at this and really want to try this. thank you so much for any help you can give me
That is a lovely sympathy card. Perfect card for the occasion. Love your double embossing and encouraged to try It! I didn't like the music in the background. If your video wasn't so interesting, I would have turned off before you were finished. Did give a thumbs up because of the way you presented the method.
The pens you're referring to are called "Blender Pens" and they are fabulous. You can see them via my online store here. If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like to order these, I'd be happy to help! I can only sell within my own country however (Canada) so if you live elsewhere and need a demonstrator then I am happy to help you with that too. Have a marvelous day!
You are talking our language with that shell card. Water is my favorite. Lake or ocean sure makes me happy. Great job Tina! Thank you. ❤

What is the name of the pen you are using to color the stamps?
The pens you're referring to are called "Blender Pens" and they are fabulous. You can see them via my online store here.

Tina Zinck are they anything like the cricut felt tip pens which I have plenty of?
Thanks.
P.S. I lived in Michigan in the United States.
Hi Gwendolyn - I've never used the cricut felt tip pens, so I really can't compare (sorry!).
I'm watching...and still totally confused..... I've never embossed nor used a cutting machine, plates, folders, etc. though so that may be it......
Super.
Pretty
Cute card. Very hard to hear what you're saying. My volume was turned up all the way.
Even with full volume I cant hear a word youre saying as it appears your microphone isnt working as all other videos Ive watched I can hear.
This was an old video.. I've learned a lot over the years with sound and editing lol
Please Tina , no music this is hard to hear ,and it is not needed . Thanks
