This guy had some impressive power for a second baseman, and overall a great baseball player -that had the ability to do everything on the field.
First hit is a grand slam , and bruh running around the bases like his hair is on fire! favorite player of all time!
Chase Utley had the heart of a hockey player, in a baseball player's body and uniform. Whether you like him or not, you have to respect his grit and determination.
They really should've showed less Dodger highlights and more Phillies highlights

Surefire Hall of Famer. You can't be the best player at your position for a good eight years and possibly not get in. He won't get in first ballot, but I can easily see him going in second, third, or fourth. Happy retirement to one of my all time favorite athletes!

@@mikejensen2137 This 100%! Everybody loves the WAR stat these days and Chase Utley's career WAR puts him in the top 100 players of all time. Ahead of a good number of hall of famers.

My favorite of all time. You fall in love with the teams you watch in high school, and that was the 06-10 Phillies for me. Will always love all those guys, but especially Chase.

Grew Up Watching Chase Now 33 father of a 4 month old baby Girl! Hated when he came up to bat vs Giants but it was exciting since he was so Good. Hats off Mr. Utley

Such a clutch winner and champion always stepped up when it mattered most and was always so professional and a quiet and veteran leader by example Philly and I’m sure LA will forever love this dude. The MAN!

What happened to Phillies fans? Our grandfathers booed Richie Allen out of town. 40 years ago we booed our greatest player ever, Mike Schmidt. We cheered Chase Utley grit and hustle and baseball intelligence.
Now we have the most overrated player in baseball history, at the top of the league for running into outs with stupid base running, tons of strikeouts in important situations, but lots of homers with big leads or far behind- look it up, and the fans gave him a standing O at the last home game.
Oh yeah and so called fans booed Pat Burrell that hustled every game and was an integral part of our championship in 2008.
There’s a reason no other team offered the stupid contract that the Phillies did to Harper. As Dodger and Tiger fans let him know last season, he is overrated.
100% agree on Burrel. Guy wasn't great but was definitley good, and at times did play great for us. But I remember like 50% of fans didn't like him. Pat the Bat was a huge part of the 2008 champion ship run.
