Trying 8 Weird & New Foods At Disney's International Food & Wine Festival 2021 At EPCOT + New Merch!

- In today’s vlog we head to the first day of the International Food & Wine Festival 2021 at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT! We get our first look at the menus, decorations, merch & more! We tried 8 new and weird menu items on this trip. We started at the all new Swanky Saucy Swine booth, where we ordered all of the new food items. We started here because we saw that they had a pig ear salad, which sounded like a fun one to start with! Then we take a look at some of the new festival merch before heading to try the new wings in at the BreWing booth in the Odyssey building. This is a great place to beat the heat for a bit at the festival and there's a lot of indoor seating as well as the EPCOT experience that you can check out! We end our day with some fun donuts from The Donut Box booth. We had the candy jar donut and the sriracha donut chicken sandwich. We had a lot fun today and we hope you had fun hanging out with us! They were warning back in the spring they would be out and loud, I live in East Tennessee and haven’t heard any! Now back in the early 90’s like 92 they were so loud and annoying I was in the 7th grade it was annoying to go outside they were so loud.

I've been watching Tim and going to Universal for years hoping I might be able to meet him. Yesterday I ran into Tim at Islands of Adventure yesterday outside of the Hagrid's exit and I was so excited lol. All I did was say hi cuz him and Jen were talking to someone but it made my whole day 😀.
Ah, yes. That means Jenn finally rode Hagrids. can’t wait for that video.

Growing up Filipino, there were times we had pig ear strips like that fried for a snack, and we would dip them into vinegar. It's a thing. So thumbs up Disney! That's pretty authentic way to eat pig ears made fancy. :)
In Spain we eat them grilled as a tapa, with parsley and garlic, so good.

I’ve always eaten pig ears in souse (head cheese). It’s mostly gristle and crunchy in a vinegar gelatin base. So good cold.

Why doesn't Disney have covered seating for its dining areas, how has that been overlooked?
i think that's what they're planning with the epcot expansion. At least for the front of the park there should be a bunch more covered ares (obviously that wouldn't be close to most of the festival booths though)
My take on it that they don’t want you to get too comfortable and overstay your welcome 🤷♀️. So that others can sit there as well throughout the day 🤷♀️. Note that in an outdoor restaurant, the opposite would be true, so you will sit longer and spend more money!, 🤣

I was so excited to the see Blake's being represented at Food and Wine! We visit Blakes Orchard every fall for cider, pumpkins and apple picking. They make some fantastic hard ciders.

This is a game plan if you’re wanting to eat in the odyssey at any of the festivals. Depending on the size of your group split up and have everybody grab a booth they want to get items from, all go separate ways, and get your item then meet back at the Odyssey. I know a lot of people like to share the items because it is a lot of food so you can all share the food if that’s what you do then you’re not wasting time and you can eat in the AC!!!! You could always just talk into some of the food spots in the pavilions but there isn’t a lot especially with air-conditioning. The odyssey is the only building that can hold a lot of people with indoor seating and tables that are inside of the world showcase.

Pimento is a type of pepper. It is a red vegetable. So the cheese has pimento IN it. That's why it's called "pimento cheese".

The Friendship boat captain said today (July 15) that the EPCOT monorail is starting back up either this coming Sunday or Monday. It was definitely a date early next week.

That’s actually why I started following them. I found Tim’s voice very calming and I loved the way they speak to each other. It’s so respectful, honest and full of love. They seem the most genuine.

Always eat wings with Blue Cheese, if you must mask the Frank's Hot Sauce flavor with something! A real Buffalo wing is pretty spicy up here. It's part of the allure. I carry hot sauce in my purse 🤤 Love hearing my city get some clout on your channel!

I googled it. It's porchetta with a ch like cheddar. Mom tip: use baby wipes to wipe sticky fingers when there is no bathroom. Also, use an empty prescription bottle and fill it with Dawn. Dawn is the best for getting oily stains out of clothes when you are out and about. If Tim needs to wash his face/beard/mustache, you can pack wet paper towels in plastic ziploc baggies.

i knew you were my friend, Jackson, and your finding/loving Figment right away just PROVES it! Just wish you could experience the old attraction, when it was MUCH better, with more Figment, and Dream Finder, and you could meet both outside in the garden. I agree, Tim - Pig Ear Salad DOES sound weird! When I lived in VA, the hog farmers would say "we use every part of the hog, except for the squeal: - and they were NOT kidding!!!

We were so sad that we our Epcot day was the day before Food & Wine!! My son loves Remi!!! We were able to find one of the Remi’s in Canada. So my son was happy we saw one!

Love watching you guys! We just took our 20 month old to the Sanford ZOO and she loved it! They have a carrousel and splash zone as well. She got to feed the giraffe, goats and a llama. I think it would be an awesome video and Jackson would LOVE it! They close at 3pm so I would recommend going when they open at 9am, that way you can leave by his nap (that’s what we did). There’s a donut place called Donuts to go near by, so we grabbed breakfast there and went to the zoo. The zoo itself is not that big and not that crowded! :) hope you like the recommendation
