The amount of flour listed is too little (13.5 oz is approx 1.7 cups), I ended up using 3-4 cups bc the texture was too thin. These came out amazing. My family, friends, and coworkers loved it. None were left. Do you have a hamantaschen recipe too?

1 cup flour = 4.8 Oz 13.5 Oz = 2 3/4 cup

Does the water/milk have to be warm for the yeast?
It depends if you want the dough to rise faster, then you'll have it warm. Room temperature is fine as well.
