The first things that must be built after the war is first class long-term treatment and support centres, and accessible living accommodation for injured veterans.
There will be so many there should be also set up a body through which their voices are heard on state matters.
They must be visible in positions everywhere so that the physically and mentally injured veterans do not feel or ever become forgotten or sidelined.
All rebuilding of infrastructure must be disabled accessible.

Russia can't take care of it's own country, doesn't have a self identity, so is insanely trying to rob a neighbours one to make themselves feel important.. Very sad such low self esteem in a nation. really tragic for young Russians as well as Ukrainians.. at least Ukrainians know who they and are proud of their national identity.. Russia can't live with itself or on it's own and obviously have no respect for themselves or their own country.

    1. The BBC presenter never let his guests finish.
    2. It felt like the modrator was speaking himself for around 30% of the broadcast time.
    3. I also felt the British imperial arrogance (a Brit in particular should hold back when predicting when Ukraine will join the EU/NATO).
Conclusion: The topic was actually important, but please for the next time, led people finish their answers, thank you.

@@musicfortheyes Thank you for your nuanced answer. Basically I agree with you. Nevertheless, he should take into account that the topic of "Ukraine" does not deal with any domestic political issue for the British, but with a people in the fight for survival. The fact that he doesn't like to distinguish between them doesn't speak for him in my opinion. This is not about some political scandal in the Labor Party, but about whether a country will be or not.

The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention criticized Sackur for suggesting genocide as one of two "realistic options" for the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh during a HARDtalk interview with Ruben Vardanyan. Sackur had suggested the Armenians of the Republic of Artsakh either accept "a political deal or leave" due to the 2022-2023 blockade of the Republic of Artsakh. According to Lemkin Institute, Sackur had blamed the victims for the blockade: "Artsakh is under blockade not because of the genocidal designs of Azerbaijan, but because of some inexplicable stubbornness on the part of Armenians in Artsakh or their leaders - or both, as he seems to believe". The Lemkin Institute further criticized Sackur for trying to suggest the word Artsakh (the historical Armenian name for Nagorno-Karabakh) was illegitimate and for ignoring the rights of self-determination

Giving thought to what a peace treaty to end the Ukraine War might entail, my short list of agreements is led with Nuclear Disarmament between USA and Russia mainly aiming to reduce ICBM and short range nuclear missiles by half (from 12,000 to 6,000) in 5 to 10 years with the other nuclear powers invited to join in. This stipulation alone would give nations worldwide an incentive to participate in rebuilding Ukraine. Secondarily, we ask the question, What do Russian oligarchs want? If the answer is primarily commercial access to world markets for grain export, that commercial access (not control over Ukrainian ports) can be granted with suitable port fees. These two peace treaty stipulations I suppose lack diplomatic machinations, but perhaps they are a good starting point on which to develop a more complete peace agreement.

The unfortunate truth is that the US which controls NATO does not want a quick resolution to this war but rather a prolonged war to in effect cripple Russia's economy and it's petroleum industry which would help the US economy enormously. Sorry to be so pessimistic. I support Ukraine 100% but fear that NATO lacks the will to do everything in it's power to end this ASAP.

This waa a fascinating forum. Sadly, though, I still think that the future well-being of Ukraine is going to depend on whether or not sanity returns to the Russian side. As of now there is little evidence that it will as long as Putin is in power.. My heart goes out to the Ukrainians for what they have suffered as the result of Putin's invasion. I hope that somehow sanity does come to the situation so that Ukraine can be restored, but I feel it will only happen when sanity appears inside Russia.
