    On the Squad Position it is actually useful when...
    Wide Formation-Good moving to other position and there is a enemy tank nearby unless getting hit directly few of ur squad member would survive. Or a bomb was drop near ur position.
    Standard Formation-Pretty much good on anything. On open space or close space
    Close Formation-Good on Close space.
    On AI behavior use Agressive when u are inside or near objectives.
    Passive is when u are moving to other position.

    another tipp: if your looking around with one guy and see that the area is safe but your squad is lagging behinnd you can command a hold zone somewhere safe then switch to another squad member that is with the lagging group to check for any danger and if your first guy dies that you used to look around you know it isn't safe to go there and can go to another position.

    The Ai soldiers are so dumb they get in my way I just make them defend inside a random building and stay there lol

    7:06 I use wide formation almost exclusively when crossing open ground. When I do a big flank to put a sneaky rally, I tend to keep them on passive til it's built so we don't give away our position.
    And if there is open ground but say a tank for cover I'll.put them in standard or close. I rarely use close as a rule because of mines, grenades, and stray tank shells.

    4:20 - Have used it before, only works like 35% of the time. The rest of the time, they just get killed. AI tries to cook the grenade and then throw it is basically what occurs.

    I usually send my squad under artillery fire (if radio mans on the squad) and when 1 gets kia, i switch aggressive to passive to aggressive to wake the AI up and usually get 1-2 klls before they get got. If its a machine gun squad i put them in the bush and set them to aggressive while i am in front of them, so when the enemy fires at me, the AI fires back for cover. Long story short, the AI needs fixing like a major focus for a major update

    A.I in this game is really “otherworldly” - can’t hit a shit up close, yet snipe down enemies across the breath of the Mohave with ease

    I don't understand why people don't use smoke screens. There are several maps where it's very difficult to advance, whether ally or enemy, but players can't think tactically and watch their allies get massacred in the open field. Smoke grenades are very useful. I don't understand why people don't prepare before the battle. They even lowered the prices of equipment and weapons to make it more affordable to equip your squad. I'm even finding it much cheaper to buy vehicles and upgrade them. I've managed to turn the tide of battle with smoke screens. My team was being massacred in the open field and I just had to throw two smoke barrages to take the point and I didn't even have to run towards my death.

    There's this Bridge in battle of Berlin, where we usually have capture points below it on the side in some sort small island in the middle of the river. The AI sometimes just go cross the bridge above rather than following you to swim below, this usually gets them instantly killed because there's usually a line of enemy MG up there.

      If it’s the Moltke bridge section I recall it sucking for both sides. If they haven’t changed the spawn, iirc you can just HE the attacker spawn

    Crouch or prone while individual order behind barrel etc in dark areas for ambush type setup. It confuses the enemy in any case giving me a minute to wipe out dummy sneaking up on my AI

    A useful tool to use while giving an order is using smoke to cevor the advance of the AI... I don't know why people don't use smoke

      Learnt that fast on Guadalcanal as Japan on that map you attack the trenches off the beach. Backpack squad leader, all smoke or WP and roll right forward or mortar smoke. I always dump an ammo box or two if I see a mortar dude. Quick message and ask nicely if he’ll smoke and mark where you want it. Quick rush can roll that cap fast.

      Yes, my friends and i are abusing smoke and smoke artillery which made push obj so much easier.

      Because people are stupid and an item with 0 damage mean useless. This is the case with every Rush mode in any games. No one uses smoke

    I will add a tip to formation wide is better if crossing open ground (so random tank shell doesn't take out the squad) close formation is better in QCB or inside building as the AI is stronger if guarding a rooms window and doors...kinda stronger tho.
    As far as I can see in costom servers the ai runs in a straight line and just swarms the objective they stop every few seconds and scans and aims for a targeted .

      My squad order is a keyboard button, but also on scroll wheel up. I just spin the wheel up to command quickly

    I have never trusted the squad ai to do much of anything beyond telling them where to go, mainly because I'm on console and don't have many free button combos for giving those commands

    paradivision told us to link the shoot button with the spot button together it kinda helps making my Ai face the right way sometimes.
    im pretty sure the safeist thing for my squad is to stay as far from the action as possible .
    I just wish they could take cover and support fire by command.
    AI IS JUST MEAT to shoot at! ...i still don't really understand why take 9 bot into battle if they all die in 30 seconds and I go back to redeploy screen anyway.

      @@evo4fun606 I can see its a difficult decision to make if the Ai gets too good it could brake the multi player or make it too difficult to fight against....but costom maps you can tell the AI cant see more then a 100 metres or so...

    i typicaly lead them close to an objective and then order them to attack it , they typicaly score a few kills , heck one time my ai cleared an entire squad which was comical , and only with bolt actions cause i play japan

      Have you noticed if the AI has machine guns they pick enemies off like mad especially if you’re prone? Helps if their perks are good.

      @@stevepirie8130 the ai is suprisingly accurate overall id say , its funny when they casualy turn around and pop some guy 200 meters away . i hope it gets better in the future and they become more deadly , and they are quite proficient at melee as well
