I have 14 citrus fruit all year indoors with mandello (cocktail grapefruit) and lemons and mandrin and high watt LED lights are a necessity for flowering and leaf retention I have found. Scale will cause leaf drop and chlorosis can be from rotting roots. Bone meal is good and worm castings to hold fruit.

One part molasses to one part seaweed extract, then from that take one tablespoon of the mixture to a spritzer full of water. Spray 2-3 times a week as a foliar. You can add palm foliar feed to the mixture to get some of the manganese it contains.
I don't like potting soil on my potted trees as it has fermentable that roots don't like.
On the positive; the suckering created a larger root system that the graft will benefit from.
Great explanation of the micronutrient uptake.

Indoor citrus...its so fun to grow them from seeds after you ate the fruits you bought. Lemon, grapefruits, orange, yuzu...you name it. Itll take a while to reach to the harvest but still you can enjoy observing its growth, and bloom when reach to the age, i guess. When the seedlings are small, you keep trim them back to thicken the tree so they stay indoor managable size for years. Try !!!

Very informative. Glad I caught this one. Have you considered a spring pruning to encourage branching?

    As citrus hobbyist in Canada…
Citrus can move nutrients from older leaves to protect new growth. Hence, yellow leaf at bottom.
Why it’s doing this? Because of cold temp. Citrus roots ability to move nutrients diminishes with cold temperature. Ideal Root zone temp should be 20c to 35c.
Lastly, your pot is too big for the container size. If this was my citrus tree, I would pot it in 10” or max 12” pot.

Hey Summer. Don’t know if you’re ever back in Brooklyn. There’s auto repair in borem section of Brooklyn that has a fantastic specimen of the miniature orange tree on dolly. Every morning he wheels the tree out to sidewalk to get its sun and wheels back into shop at night. If you want address or name of business leave me a comment. Love this tutorial many thanks.

Is it possible to over fertilize your meyer lemon house tree ? Would that cause it to lose some leaves?

is it true that growing citrus from seed takes about 35 years to grow fruit? I would be happy with the blossom way sooner.

Your graft base seems a poncyrus to me - its, the only somewhat hardy citrus (not nice to eat though). i would have left the poncyrus....

Winter storage... It's a bit of an adventure here 😆 my home is 60m2 and I already had 70 plants permanently inside. I have my Ensete Ventricosum 'Maurelli' x2, Canna's x6, Jacaranda, Musella Lasiocarpa and some bulbs in my bedroom between the bed and northern facing windows 😂 I don't have a partner, so no crawling required to get in bed yet. Gotta get creative next year with so many plants multiplying 😅 will have 15 Colocasia pups in my living room under a grow light when the last ones are out of their pot. The bedroom is the coldest room in the house, many degrees below room temperature so it'll have to do for the plants I want to go to rest

If you watering with Ro and rain water the water can be alkaline. Many plants in nature get more gh mg minerals than Kh ( calcium) minerals, bit mg is bond with Ca and iron is bond with Ca. If you water with alkaline( Ca) water you need acidic medium like peat mixed whit silicate sand, neutral Ph does not desove to much/ so much.
I heard that peoty cactus best Ph to water it is 5,5 but they grow them with mixed Ca gravel

Me and my buddy are practising with sound vibration. Bird song is supposedly the reason the stomata opens on leaves. Also getting into electroculture, we have noticed a difference so far. You look beautiful as always.

@Tminus89 Yeah my mate has a thing for hybrids. I think it's like earthing the plant, the planet had a resonant frequency schuman. Its out of balance though because of the electromagnetic interference. The electromagnetic field is contained with the copper.
