I was in a pub a couple of weeks ago in Soho and it was raining - I went up the jukebox and played this song - it's a masterpiece - Thank you Bruce for a lovely tribute to Shane.
I was at this concert. Could not believe it when Bruce came on stage to start the concert with this tribute. Says a lot about an artist who will recognise the genius of another.❤😊
I was there and I couldn’t believe it when they played the first notes , I thought it couldn’t be topped but they played it as the last song in Cork 4 days later in the pouring rain , my favourite Springsteen show ever 🥰
A song by the Pogues, whose lead singer, Irishman Shane MacGowan passed away in November, 2023 (5 months ago). A beautiful and appropriate tribute to Shane and Ireland
I am a fan but Bruce needed to rehearse this a few more times . vocal a bit weak and band & horns particularly too tentative . maybe needed a choral layer from his singers too to inject a bit more power . but a decent effort to win the crowd

What a truly wonderful human being Bruce is! Ireland will never forget this kindness ❤❤
What kindness?
He over charges for gigs...he is a hypocrite like Bono pretending to identify with the common people...
Bruce visited Shane at his home in Dublin. 2 poets. An honest tribute ❤
Thats why this man gave his life to rock and roll and remains above the elite . beyond class

I was fortunate to see the Pogues in London in 1984 on my Honeymoon. The opened for Elvis Costello at the Hammersmith Palais. It was a great night
Fantastic choice!! Awesome tribute! Loved loved loved
Superb ❣️ Made me tear up ❣️💚 ☘️ Shane 🇮🇪
Yeh, had to move away from the burger van as the onions caused my eyes to water too

Total respect ✊ ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Class!

When the boss sings for a friend...
Fantastic video quality and interviews. Look forward to all your videos: almost as good as being there. Thanks ❤🎉
Chills
Your the measure of my dreams, the measure of my dreams
A lesson there for the young pretenders in how to read your audience and get them onside

Should've learned the words
He is reading them from the teleprompter. That's what people do now
Totally disappointed with the crowd no real boss fans
We can't afford the tickets and luckily saw him when he was a young man

That’s bloody awful or the sound system is shit
Absolute rubbish version by a multi millionaire who over charges for his gigs
Sounds like Bruce has got a nasty cold should have mimed or used auto tune like the rest do,

@@15eddiekelly get your ears tested . It was dreadful . Bruce doesn’t get a pass simply because he is Bruce and his lips are moving. It was dreadful .
