My grandma had a chunky tuxedo cat named Gabriel. He had no brain cells, only an immense amount of love.
Gabriel sounds absolutely purrfect 😂😂
No thoughts just love and huge belly to rub. Sounds like a dream cat
:D
Same!! I’ve got a Maine Coon tuxedo mix that’s dumb as a stone but the most gentle spirit you’ll ever encounter
Sounds like my benny
This lass was in a constant state of "I don't know what's happening and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to react, to be honest". What a polite kitty.
What are you talking about? The cat has been washed many🤣.many many times..and groomed. And had claws snipped. Many times. It's smarter than you.
@@sasquatchrosefarts what's your damage lol
Seemed more like apathy than confusion.
Y’all really having a debate about that cat psychology uh? Lmfao

And not to forget the black and white cats superpower. The power to leave visible hair on ANY colour fabric/clothes ❤
Balanced fur coverage. As all things should be.
After a vet trip in the car I was sure the cat hair kept multiplying. Eventually forced to vacuuming it out.
Calicos are calling 📞
😂😂😂😂😂
I had a calico cat. Absolutely any clothes I wore would have her hair.
Our old neighbors had a tuxedo named Sly. He was an old man kitty. He didn't say "meow", he said "mreh". He'd visit us every day. He was very sweet
lol had one too, he sounded like a 90yo smoker. Voice was crazy :)
same with ours LOVE her
Your neighbors cat was obviously an in/outdoor cat & enjoyed the freedom to see you at his leisure. Imagine if your neighbor refused him the right to go outside? This is what indoor only cat advocates are trying to force as normal & a healthier option. IT IS NOT! Your neighbors cat loved his owner, loved you and lived 2 years longer because he was free to choose. You were so blessed to have witnessed freedom of choice.
@@cme98 stfu. my cat was in/outdoor and that's what killed him. cats need to stay indoors for their own and the enviroment's safety.
There’s a lil baby I feed daily I named snaggletooth for obvious reasons. He has a funny mrew too.
The most behaved blob I've ever seen

I've never had a tuxedo cat myself but my next door neighbors did. I called her Neighbor Cat and she was such a nice girl. She was an indoor/outdoor cat and unfortunately got hit by a car and didn't live. Except for my first cat, my cats have always been indoor cats.
So chill, so calm, so well behaved. That's a great cat right there.
Takes a pet, like. no problem.
Takes a bath, no problem. Not afraid at all.
@@est9949 those eyes said she was a little afraid, but you can tell she trusts people.
Her pupils were fully dilated, she did not like what was happening to her. But she put up with it all the same. what a brave, sweet cat.
it could also means theyre indoor with dim light.

Oh wow! It looks like you didn't get anywhere near the end of her little kitty timer! What a patient, tolerant old lady she is!
11 yrs is not old for an indoor cat.
@@bw7839 My 16 yr old indoor Tuxedo is curled up @ my feet on my bed. He's been an indoor cat ever since I found him in 2006 on my back deck yelling his tiny little head off. He fit completely in my hand. Vet said he was 5 weeks old @ best. He & I have been keeping company for 16 years.... He romps like a kitten throughout the house daily. Howls @ the top of his lungs every night as he surveys our backyard from inside the patio doors.

@@raallen1468 My Siamese lived to 21. 😉
This may have been the most peaceful grooming session on this channel. No one sang, or had to be spoken too, Lol. She wins for best animal period.😊
She also didn't throw a single paw either.
Yup. Nestle's right up there with Hank in the "cats with most chill" leaderboards. Makes sense since they're both black and whites.
@@cparle87- I’d throw in Tolstoy the Exotic Shorthair 😊
It's indeed relaxing, but not as interesting and funny as seeing grooming of huskies 😂😂
The puppy had a couple of things to say towards the end.. but Nestle was a perfect angel.
I used to have a tuxedo cat named Bianca. She was older than me, having joined the family 4 years before I was born. When my parents came to the shelter and the volunteer led them around and asked them questions like what sort of cat they were looking for, Bianca hopped onto my dad's shoulder. He said "We'll take this one." and they came home with her that day. Throughout my whole life she's been there for us. Our family has always struggled and we have all had some very low lows when it comes to our situation and our relationship with each other, yet no matter what, Bianca was there for every single one of us when we needed it. And if we didn't come to her, she'd come to us, despite struggling with multiple health issues including arthritis. Her primary nickname was either 'bonk' or 'nurse kitty' because she could always tell when you're sick or stressed and she'd come to snuggle you. A fact that's been engrained into my brain because she's been by my side for longer than I can remember is that she's always been there to be my nurse kitty. This year is the first year I've had to go through where that is not true. This year I have also been experiencing the biggest amount of change in my life ever before and it's been so hard to go through all of it without my nurse kitty by my side. She isn't just family, she was my guardian angel, and an angel of a cat she really was.
I miss my tuxedo kitty so much. Rest in peace my sweet Bianca.
/hugs
I love your story. My family's Forever Cat was a torty, who was 21 when we lost her. She's the one everyone in my family remembers - she was a stable influence through all of our highs and lows, just like your Bianca. RIP Bianca and Nala.
Wish you could come adopt from me, I have 2 very precious siblings, they are primarily black, but very sweet and need a loving home, someone to love them through all the highs and lows of life.
Reading wondrous stories such as your beautiful elegy make me cry for all the cat wonders I have lost. They gave me so much more than I was able to give them and I miss them all so much. What touches my heart just as much is how tender and beautiful are those that appreciate the gentility and strange nature of felines ... they themselves are just as beautiful as are YOU!
@@ooohlaa13 Oh my word. At one time, we had four cats (my Nala was one) and we lost another to illness. So now we have two cats, and as we were getting through the grief, we thought, "Okay, well maybe now we won't be as in demand as we were with four cats," and how wrong we were. The two cats we have now have 'expanded' to fill the rest of the house! haha!
They're 16 now (litter mates) and totally in charge. We love them dearly, but we know it's coming.
"The gentility and strange nature of felines" is so spot on. I wish more was done to research why certain colours of moggies have certain personalities. And I know I'm going on a bit, and I'm sorry for that. But, like, tuxedos rule the roost. Gingers have one brain cell etc. I'd love to know more.
i love that she’s just there, existing, no thoughts
black & white cats have zero brain cells while orange cats share a brain cell among them
Wish that were me.
Oh, she's thinking. She's thinking, "I've been so good, I bet I'm gonna get some TREATS....mmmm. Happy."
She just like me fr
I find that a strange thing to love. Also strange of the groomer to recommend "a blob." I'm suspicious of people who value "no thought, no personality" companions. It suggests a desire to dominate and control (rather than respect and love), with no willingness or flexibility to allow what any other being may prefer.
I have a beautiful tuxedo cat named Giona. Some nasty people just threw him in a dumpster when he wasn't even a month old. You might say he was lucky we found him, but actually my family and I are the lucky ones here. He's just so clever, gentle and patient! We simply couldn't imagine our lives without him, especially my dad who was initially against having a cat while now he falls asleep on the couch with the cat making biscuits on his stomach! We love you Giona!
I always love hearing about the dad who are against getting the cat that end up falling in love with them!! Such cute stories!!
@@Kaye09MNchick you are right! 😁 Sometimes my father wouldn't even let me get close to the cat if he's asleep. "Just go away, he's having a nap, do not interrupt him". 😅
It's always the dads, who initially hate the idea of getting a cat, falling most for the kitty 😄 What a lovely story! Sending Giona lots of pets❤
@@wienerblut100 thank you a lot, I definitely will! 🤗
I had a tuxedo cat named Mr.Meow Meow for 13 years. He was so fluffy, beautiful and he knew it. He was a diva and I loved him for it. Rest in peace buddy.
i have a cat named Mr moo moo and he is so fluffy but he is a little devil
My indoor Tuxedo lived to the ripe old age of 23. He was with me through girlfriends, turning 30 then 40, moves across country and across states and was always looking to be loved on until his final day. There's just something about a Tuxedo cat.
Yep I rescued a tuxedo I love him his name is buddy
My tuxedo cat, Susie Q, is just a big fluff ball of love. She was a pregnant stray who just ran into my house one day, hopped in my lap, and demanded I pet her. So trusting! I kept her isolated and comfy while she raised her kittens, adopted them out, had her spayed, and now I have my little Susie Floozy full time as an indoor cat. She’s curled up in my lap as I type this. 🥰

Is... is that a JoJo's reference?
@@astralb.2647 My thoughts exactly
Ooohhh a JoJo fan
When I was a kid, I had a very fat, black and white cat named Moo. She just showed up one day with clipped ears. I fed her everyday, until we decided to officially adopt her. She was kind & cuddly. RIP Moo.
My friend also has a black and white cat called Moo lol. Funny coincidence
Hi, how long did you have Moo? how many months or years?? Sometimes I think GOD leads the cats (or dogs,) To Us. ❤️
So nice hearing about everyone’s cow cat. Nestle was the most cutest, kindest and carefree cat I’ve ever seen. Might just have to adopt a tuxedo car after this
Don't be fooled by the formalwear, every tuxedo cat I've ever met was fuckin wild (including my own).
Never fix that typo.
I have a black and white cat and I can confirm that it has the best behaviour among our 7 cats/kittens. It is hard working (goes out in search of food while its brothers laze around in the garden) and is very affectionate towards us and also has the most pleasant "meow".
Ooooh beware. My tuxedo boy is a maniac, into everything and constantly underfoot. Recently he ate string and needed to be hospitalized. He is ok now! But that was a stressful day.
I've had a black-and-white since 2010, and for 12 years old, she's still very much violent and opinionated. She's loving on her own terms, sure, but those terms come with lengthy conditions.
I have a black and white cat that NEVER goes outside. We take her to be groomed every 6 months and the groomer loves her. We got her at the pound when she was a kitten. Whoever fostered her did an outstanding job of socializing her.
I had two black and white cats who sadly both passed in 2021 at the respectable ages of 16 and 19. The 16 y/o was exactly what you described: sweet, rotund, no brain cells only purrs. The 19 y/o was a tiny, loud, neurotic plant destroyer who hated everything except me. Truly two opposite personalities have never grudgingly coexisted in the same space and I miss them 😂
sounds like a great mighty feline ..
They must have been amazing companions ❤️
I had a black and white cat, Isaac, he lived 19 years. He was the sweetest boy. He slept next to me with his head on his own pillow, and always had to put one paw gently on my face. Never knew why he did that...but is was really one of the fondest memories I have of him.
He did it so he'd know if you got up and he could go with you.
+1 Missing my 15 y/o kitty, who used to do the same. Cant believe he's gone, I still feel deep loss after more than a year. 15 years flew by so quickly. So glad we royally spoiled him and made him definitely know he was a worshiped valued, loved family member.
Peace.
If you watch lion documentaries, they do the same with each other. Basically to make sure they know where their mate is. They just want to stay close.
God Bless you!
I've always found Tuxedos to be the most friendly cats in general, they're spirited but affectionate
They have personalities, they just have very good temperament. My first and only cat was a tuxedo and my baby was so sweet. Super smart and silly girl and an amazing support system.
My family's previous cat Socks was the most non-cat cat you could get. She didn't care whether we existed or not. She just lived in the house with us and would occasionally grace us with her presences and purrs. She lived to be almost 20 years old and passed July of 2021. Rip Sock, you will always be missed
Having had over a dozen cats, I can assure you not is common cat behaviour indeed.
@@terry7907 We now have a tortie young cat (a year old) and she will cry if she's not near you and loves to cuddle, learn tricks, and just please. The complete opposite of Socks 100%
She's just like "oh......ok" the entire time, i love her
I have a black and white cat and he is puuuuuurfect. He is a weird combo of laid back and extremely affectionate. While generally calm, he also constantly wants to cuddle and will follow me from room to room.
omg garfielbdosbld
My best-ever cat passed away in 2016. She was my daughter. She would talk to me, sit on my hip and read over my shoulder, help me study and do my homework. She always knew when I was almost home, and would go to the door about 3 minutes before, and sit and wait for me, then follow me all over the place letting me know how glad she was that I was home. She was a tuxie. Man, I miss her!
First of all, Nestlé only seemed to react when she heard the puppy whine, and then she only seemed more mildly curious than scared or peeved.
Secondly, Gus made me giggle. What a randomly cute combination!
I normally despise a Nestlé's actions.. but this one? I'm in love.
_((Our tuxedo is incredibly peeved if you do anything, and I love him for it - keep being judgemental, aggravated and silly, Felix.))_
Nestle has brought a tear to my eye. I had a tuxedo cat who looked just like her. He was the best kitty. Laid back and chill. Would cuddle the whole day long. 🥰
She's beautiful outside and inside, what a calm and gorgeous nature 💛💛
Always adorable. Love your wit.
7 months ago, I was reaching for the house keys on my rucksack when I saw a skinny, little black and white thing running towards me full speed. He jumped on my lap and sat down. Now he lives with us and his name is Haru! He's pretty mellow for a teenager 😂
You have been chosen. As the new staff. Provide an equal amount of pets, (but not too much) and sustenance, and you may recieve a title bump. And your raise will be affection. 🤣
True, you have been chosen. That’s the best way. It happened to me with my current cat, and also my previous cat. Both tuxedos, both smart, very affectionate, funny little love sponges. Life is better with a cat!
“No personality” “Chill” “Well behaved” My little black and white Luna constantly looks like she is looking at the secret of the universe, will cuddle next to you and make biscuits until you move suddenly in which she zooms across the bed, and then meows at 3 AM for food because what you gave her and her brother wasn’t good enough. She’s at least a little chonkster like you described!
I have a black & white tuxedo named Lulu. 🖤🤍❤
my black and whites name was originally lucy
Is it just me or every one of the pets who come to you for grooming have such interesting and cute names? Nestle is a sweetheart.
i feel like cats either have super cute names, really weird ones (lunchbox, snuggle muffin, etc) or just like… normal human names like steve lol. i’ve seen all three on here but the cute ones def seem to be the most popular
hana my cat has a normal name Miss Mittens a very smart black and white tuxedo
Blows my mind that a cat can remain this calm through grooming!! 😮
My tuxedo Teddy was truly the most pleasant. He lived till 21 years old. For many years he was an inside outside cat, however after surviving being hit by a car he came inside permanently. He had a lot of personality and adored chilling out with everyone he met. We miss Ted very much 💜
how did you get him to stay inside? My cats always try to run outside the first chance they get when we've kept them inside for a few days
21! You were both so lucky.
That was the best behaved cat I’ve ever seen you do! I know she brings much joy to her owner.
Hello Tiffany how are you doing,
where are you from?
I grew up with black and white rescue cat named Patches. She was easily one of the smartest cats I have ever known. She vocalized in sounds that seemed to mimic words like 'hello', 'milk', 'out', and 'no'. She would tuck herself under the blankets, and learned how to open doors. In her old age, she taught our bigger Mainecoon kittens to open them for her. She was also very affectionate and tolerant of my childhood antics such as swaddling her like a doll.
Just look at that baby!! So adorable!
She’s such a sweetheart. So brave and tolerant!
Yes, and the cat is nice too
I adopted a one year old black and white cat six months ago. He is the the most cuddliest and uncomplaining animal I've ever met, and I worked as a pet sitter. He also has a dark chin like Nestle! I love him so much and I'm incredibly grateful to have him in my life! 💜☺️
My cat Sushi is black and white and died recently at age 20. She was an angel, comfortable around all animals, cuddly, beautiful, a fan of modeling shoots, and a lover of drinking water out of (only) human glasses. She was a total queen and had the most wonderful personality. I will miss you Sushi 😍
She sounds amazing. Sorry for your loss
How wonderful she was loved so much
Sorry for your loss!
I am very happy to hear she did get a life so full of love!
I have a tuxedo boy also named Sushi, he is the sweetest little naughty of our 4 cats. Totally innocent and worry free. Once he has gone missing for almost a week in cold February we looked so hard in total anxiety, fortunately he came home eventually we were so relieved. And happy afterlife for your Sushi - they stay in our hearts forever. ❤
Condolences for Sushi, she sounds amazing.
WOW ... That Kitty Kat is beautiful ❤❤❤
My little Oreo was indeed the gentlest, cuddliest cat ive ever had the pleasure to share my space with. I miss him everyday.
This cat was so unbelievably well behaved!
My girl is a tuxedo, and boy does she have personality! She’s a curious, happy monkey and gets into trouble left and right. I adopted her as a kitten and she’s my first pet. Couldn’t imagine life without her, I love her so much. Thank you for the love you show all the animals that go through your doors.
As a tuxie owner I can confirm they are full of personality. I have two, Tegan is constantly getting into trouble and climbing walls, Tiva is a sweetheart who just wants to nap in the sun lol
thats so cute
It's so weird you say monkey, I feed a stray tuxedo every day and I call him Little Monkey
My Tuxedo Calliope is the same way. Very curious and gets into everything, but I love her.
Aw I hope you have many many years of joy with her.
My wife had a black and white cat when we first met and he was the kindest and friendliest bundle of fluff you could of ever met.
I have a black and white cat named Skaïa. He's incredibly tolerant. I can take him everywhere with me. For the holidays I took the train home with him. It was supposed to be a 7 hour ride (which is already challenging) but our train ended up taking FOUR extra hours because of technical difficulties. Skaïa never meowed, hissed, poop nor pee in his carrier. I was blown away because the entire situation was really stressful for everyone. When I got home he ate, used his litter box and was all good. What a good boy!!
I, too, have a blob. He is utterly brainless but the sweetest loving boy ❤️
I would like to put in an honorary mention for Jip, the black-and-white cat of our former neighbours. He is a fierce defender of his turf, his owners moved to a different house in the same village and he still shows up by his old house (even though that is now populated by two younger cats). He's also ever-so-much a sweetheart who is always happy to be petted. He's getting old now and has taken to naps in our front garden, bless his little heart💚. I let him know he is always welcome, and always loved🥰.
So beautiful! So cute! So sweet cat! How lucky the family that lives with her!
my baby passed away at 20 just a couple months ago. She was the most adorable, affectionate cat anyone had ever met. Even my friends who didn't like cats couldn't help love her. RIP Lula

May her memory be a blessing forever.
When I was a teenager our family moved to a house in the countryside. A few days after moving while we were unpacking, this black and white cat strolled in the back door. No fear, and very much checking us out. He showed up every morning and hung out with us for most of the day but near sundown he wanted out.
He seemed to be well fed, very smart and alert but mostly wild.
We called him Sylvester because of same markings as the cartoon and the wide cheek jaws and hair. He was larger than the average and very muscular. He would bring adult crows as "gifts"
He also terrified all the neighbours dogs out of our yard but would curl up with our Lab for afternoon snoozes. If He wanted something and you didnt notice, you would get a very solid head butt.
After about a year, Sylvester was acting a bit strange one day, He insisted on checking every room (in retrospect I believe he was checking to see if there were signs of our family moving out) then the next morning was at our back door but instead of coming in like normal was meowing and pacing in and out of doorway. He led us to the shed where his very pregnant mate (a very gentle black and white) was in a corner. He supervised us and seemed to approve of our getting blankets and food water for her.
Considering this was the first time She met us, she was very trusting and let us pet her right away. I believe Sylvester communicated to her that "these humans are completely trained and safe"
A few days after giving birth, Momma cat and kittens moved into the house where we had prepared a bed for them. Even our dog had instantly done the "you are part of our pack" vibe.
Such a beautiful story. Thanks for sharing .
That is so sweet, thanks for sharing.

I used to care for a stray black and white cat (well, I assumed he was a stray but he was clean enough that it could be said he probably had a home). I called him Checkers and he was the fluffiest kitty I've ever had the pleasure of petting. He was very much laid back and chill about anything that happened around him, much like Nestle, and didn't give a fluff about the neighbourhood dogs barking at him behind their fences. I miss him.
Checkers? As Nixon said: "We're going to keep him!"
Aww 🥺 Checkers is a cute name

I have a black and white cat.
We got her as a stray all the way back in 2003, when I was just a child. She "chose" me.
She is still alive today at the age of 19. Despite not having as much energy as she used to, she still has the same amount of love and affection.
I love your cat, i hope she's doing well!!
That’s amazing!! She’s the same age as me!
I can’t believe how mellow she was. Just sitting there the whole time while you groomed her. I never thought any cat would do that.
If you groom them from a kitten they accept it but this one took the cake.
You could tell by the pupil size and the occasional little tail twitch that she wasn't entirely pleased but she never took it further than that. Calmest cat I've ever seen.
You all came here for the cat, but i came here for the girl
I have two black cats that will get into a bath tub with me if I do not shoo them away.
Yeah I have an orange cat qnd she'll cling to the side of the table at the vets. She has none of anything.

I have a black & white cat named Lulu!!! She’s a tuxedo and has one of the best, funniest, and sweetest personalities ever!
When I volunteered at the humane society there was a black and white cat named lady. She was very laid-back. I made her a promise that if she hadn’t been adopted after I graduated high school I would adopt her. Fortunately for her she was adopted into a forever home before my graduation
They don’t have “no personality”, they have a very calm and trusting personality.
She knows that. It was a joke. Most people who have very nonchalant, passive personalities are looked at as having "no personality", but that's just a figure of speech. It's just a funny way at saying that your personality doesn't stand out.
Yeah, I know -- the whole attitude of this video is pretty disrespectful to the FACT that cats are just as diverse and individual and quirky and calm/aggressive as dogs are, but this groomer simply is WAY too dog-oriented to even be commenting. And as far as I know, it is calicos (tri-color) cats who are viewed as "good fortune cats" in places like Japan. Are B&W cats also viewed as lucky somewhere?
HAVING SAID ALL THAT -- I've had only one tuxedo cat and she was adorable, persistent, loved to play AND was otherwise pretty laid back. Does that mean all B&W cats are laid back? O Hell No....
Exactly
I had a black and white cat and they had the best feisty personality ever despite getting scratched all the time
She's a dog person, after all. Lol. I suppose the irony is lost on her.
Nestle's eyes are gorgeous! Such a well behaved kitty. My tuxedo boy was found as a tiny kitten tossed over the fence into a yard full of big cat-hating dogs. So he is a timid boy even now 8 yrs later. He is definitely a indoor cuddle buddy.
My tuxedo cat went to heaven suddenly at the age of 2 last week. He was confident and bravely ruled his kingdom with a steady paw and a kind heart. (Unless you were a mouse)

My tuxedo best friend was so good natured, amiable, quiet and an incredible judge of character lol. He got along with everyone and other cats would want to fight with him, and he'd sit there staring like they were absolutely mad. He went to his well deserved reward last September, and there will never be another like him. Rest peacefully, Swift. T Justice the 3rd Esq. cat attorney at law (Swifty for short).
I found a tuxedo kitten on the highway. Ruby's four years old now. 🥰😻 She's by far the sweetest and calmest of our three cats.
Thank you for saving and loving her
Your profile pic is hilarious
My 15lb tuxedo Julian is also a blob! My parents and I call him a mush because he’ll just go over to anyone and flop for cuddles and pets. Head empty, he runs on love 😂❤ Also, thank you for sharing your experience on outdoor cats! There’s so many in my neighborhood and it breaks my heart, especially during these winter months.
I have a 9lb void Julian! I've never heard of another kitty named Julian before and it makes me very happy 😸
Nestle has a constant surprised Pikachu face with that black triangle on her chin and absolutely no thought behind those eyes. I love her.
The little black smug on her chin is adorable. Such a little sweetie!😻
My Friend passed away in 2008 and I inherited her 2yr old black & white kitty named OC (Oreo Cookie) which makes her about 17 yrs old! She is a sweet and gentle kitty cat & very much needs to be near me at all times and if I am not near, she is very vocal in letting me know this fact! It has been a pleasure to watch over her until she returns to her mama which I hope is not too soon.❤
I have a tuxie, and he's sitting here on my chest watching this right now. He is literally the best.
Thank you for sharing about a live cat. These obituaries give me anxiety over losing my 14 year old tuxedo cat who is the sweetest boy on the planet.
You all came here for the cat, but i came here for the girl
Nestlé is so calm and well behaved. Totally chilled!!
I had a black and white cat almost identical to this little doll. I adopted her as an adult. She was three. I had 13 wonderful years with my beloved Lily. I miss her. You are right. They are awesome.
Ah! I used to have a black and white cat named Ferret. He sort of walked right into our lives, and i loved him dearly. He was old and v lopsided but he carried himself like a gentleman, and was an absolute sweetheart. He loved to give long "hugs" - he'd sit in your lap and streeeetch out, with his front paws almost reaching the shoulders. He was a great boy, rest in r.i.p.
I just adopted a black and white rescue; he hid for the first day but on the second he came out and would not stop purring, and he's been purring ever since. Just a sweet little lad who's very grateful to be off the streets.
My parents used to have a tuxedo cat named Cecil, and my mom always describes him as 'crazier than a bedbug'.
She is so beautiful!
Of all the different sorts of cats we'd get at the shelter I used to work at, I'd say black and white cats were in the top 3 for most affectionate and adaptable. What a good girl, Nestle!
Any other tips?
@@lulumoon6942 Tuxedo shoes looks good on them
What a pretty baby! We had a tuxedo cat, well, she had us - she was a stray that we fed, then took her with us when we moved. Always an outdoor cat, though my husband built her a cat motel with a heat lamp in the garage for the winter. She was feral, would not tolerate being held or picked up. But she was a great mouser! We transitioned her to indoors one really bad winter and she managed the transition with her usual tuxedo elegance and grace. (By the way, cute Lupa cameo!)
Years ago, while still living in Hungary, we had a black and white cat, who was also a mainly indoors cat, but would sometimes wander outside. We lived on the 3rd floor, so he would climb out of the kitchen roof window and using the neighbouring rooves he would go down to the yard. When he finished his business outside, he would climb back up, slide on the roof windows for our home, with great noise I might add, till we noticed and let him in. Over his long life, he lost quite a few of his 9 lifes, but in the end he lived to a venerable 18 years.
Thanks for sharing that -- it's a great story. 🙂
Do you live near Redondo Beach? And would you consider coming to my house to groom my indoor cat,Tiger? You seem very intune and loving with your cat, Nestley please let me know I am lookin for a groomer😀🐈⬛😺
@@tashagarfield Well, thank you! 😊 I do miss my cats and dog from home. Rendondo Beach? It is in LA, California, right? It would be fun since aside from being a gardener, I did learn animal breeding and healthcare before. But right now I live in Yokohama, Japan, so we have the Pacific Ocean between us, and the commute would be too long. 😆
What an absolutely lovely cat.
Many years ago, I saved an aging black and white cat from the street. What a loving cat! And what a great friend. I still miss you, Minuit.
Thank you for saving her/him. XO
Great name

I have a black and white tripod cat named Zu. He lost his leg when he was a feral kitten in an unknown accident. He was spicy at first, but now melts into a puddle for some chin scratches. Thanks for speaking up about keeping your cats indoors if they aren't barn cats. The outdoors, even in safe neighborhoods, are unpredictable and dangerous for cats.
I have a tuxedo name Ku. His tail broke before he was born, but it is fully functional. He is 16 yrs old and has never been sick a day in his life. He's my baby, but he's the man of the house, much to my husband's dismay 😂
I wish more people would also talk about the hazards for indoor cats too, such as weight gain, nutritional deficiencies, boredom and resulting bad behaviors, and especially blockages and kidney failure due to using clumping cat litter. We don't even know how many cats are lost to these issues every year or dumped in shelters. Indoor-outdoor cats do have shorter lives, but sometimes have a better quality of life.
Indoor cats have fewer chances of getting stuck in trees.
I agree about cats not being left to roam around outside unattended. They're a menace, but it's also not really safe for them. However, having said that, I'm training my kitten to walk outside with a harness and leash - that way she can have the best of both worlds.
@@LadyIarConnacht- I could write a whole book on this topic, thanks for bringing it up. My cats have always been outside/ inside cats on summer days, they were brought in at night though. In the winter they were far more inside cats, they'd go outside and do their business and watch the wild life, on the safety of their back deck.. I let them choose, when they wanted in. I have a fenced yard, but I also live on a dead end street with bushes there. I regularly went for walks with them, they loved it.
But I also understand people that don't have a house or backyard, but they want a pet. Well, what I say to them is make sure your cat is happy, look after them with love and care, give them lots of toys and affection, take them to the vets when needed, don't feed them junk food.
But one thing they shouldn't be preaching about is, if a cat has a better life inside. If any animal, and I'll include humans as well, lives just in apartments we would become a dying breed. All animals including us, is made to smell nature, feel the grass beneath our feet, hear bird-song and so much more.
The best upbringing of a cat or dog owners is to give them both, give them the ability to run, jump and play with butterflies, waves, bugs and toys. Just make sure they are in their beds at night, as you would your own children.
“I could take them whitewater rafting and they would just accept their fate.”
This had me lmao. You’re hilarious, Vanessa 🤣
That would be quite an episode 🤣
I agree 100%. I just recently lost my black and white cat Escher. He was around 16. He looked a lot like the one in the video, with big black spots/patches. He was the calmest, most chill, sweetest cat ever, and I've always wondered if it was his breed or just his personality. So loving, and friendly, loved belly rubs and ppl, never growled or hissed a day in his life.... I agree this breed is a keeper, and i can't tell you how much i miss my boy!
Is this a cat even? It’s a miracle 😮❤ no screaming no scratching your calls out
Lol! I think it's the black and white like she says. They seem more mellow. I trained mine to take his bath just like this. :P
IKR? My calico, the Tum, went absolutely berserk getting her claws trimmed at the vet yesterday. She came back swiping, growling, and snapping. I love her so much. 💖
So I raised this black and white kitten and I was shocked by this video because he’s notorious in our family- he’s the one who breaks things, knocks things over, and goes completely bonkers- love him tho! He’s the most cuddly of our cats- he was the first of his siblings to purr from me petting him and has continued to immediately jump to my hand if I hold it horizontally.
same. my white & black kitty is totally insane and he's always beating me up
She couldn't have been more wrong about tux's personalities. Her baseless opinion from spending such short periods of time with them while chopping their claws off is far from a credible one.
I just lost my black-and-white kitty. I can confirm, he was the best boy. He didn't show that he was sick from old age until five days before we had to say goodbye. Very good kitty.
I'm so sorry for your loss -- yeah, cats can be so stoic, can't they? That's how "wild" our domestic cats still are -- trying to never show any weakness or illness so as not to attract predators, like any other small wild animal....
@@pamelaritchie3659 Thank you. It's been hard without him, but I'm planting a catnip patch in the garden come springtime for him.
@@BJones-yw4dd Thank you. It was nice that we were able to enjoy the holidays like normal with him, at least.
I’m so, so sorry. * big hug to you 😥
@@lesliel1614 Thank you so much. He really was a part of the family and is dearly missed.
she is too adorable...
Nestle looks so cute and so young like a kitten, not 11 years old girl. 😻
Her black dot at the mouth plus the innocent round big eyes make she looks surprised with jaw dropping. So adorable.
Edit : I meant jaw dropping 😻
That was indeed the goodest kitty ever. So sweet and chill
1:55 I'm crying she's so cute 😭😭
that little head band kills me! really emphasizes their pear shape
Oh my godddd😍😭❤
Mitchell, Lola, George, Grace........ love that head wrap! That's a fine looking kitty!!!!
Yup, your assessment of black and white cats is so accurate. Mine is Whisky. He’s 22 years old and is an absolute gem. He toddles about like a wee old man unless there’s ham to be found, at which point he turns into an overexcited kitten. It’s the cutest funniest thing ever. He even miaows like an old man now too, imagine if a cat smoked a whole packet of cigarettes at once, that’s what he sounds like. He’s an outdoor cat who loves to even sleep outside in summer, he’ll take off for days at a time then come strolling back in like ‘hey, whassup?’ He’s a crazy big furball and I’d be lost without him ❤️
My Lucy was 21 when she crossed the bridge this Feb 13😢I miss her 😢

Good job 22! Wow. May he lives another 10 years or forever❤️❤️
I have two black-and-white boys. Toby I adopted first and he is exactly like you described: all sweetness, all love, obsessed with food, chunky potato shape. The second, Haru, is a long boy who loves to play and cuddle. Wish me luck as all 3 of us move from South Korea to Texas later this month!
DFW resident here! May your move be smooth & hassle free. And May you & Toby & Haru enjoy your new home.
Good luck 👍
Goodluck with the move ❤
Good luck and as much ease as possible.
Your client was perfect! We had 3 B&W cats (all polydactyl, with at least 6 toes and one had 7) they were quick to learn house rules, never caused trouble and all lived nearly 15 years. We were blessed!
We had a tuxedo cat named Whiskers. He had been a stray and was a kitten when we found him. He was so wonderful and, yes, laid back. It’s been 30 years, but there are days when I’d like a cuddle from him. Was such a sweet old man.
She is incredible to look at and I assume work on, considering she showed no typical cat aggression. She has such a calming effect too; look at how beautiful she is.
