I love the way you think, and the way you present your ideas. Thank you for inviting us into your process, and explaining yourself clearly and without distracting glitz. You are so kind and helpful!
Hey Nicki. I have seen a lot of people using those sort of forms but I didnt want to spend money on them, so I was using substitutes like cutting forms out of foamular etc, but these were affordable and as you can see I have been fun experimenting with them. Thanks so much for watching!!
At less than $3 per form, this might be the best deal ever for pottery tools! I've had them on my Christmas wish list for awhile now. Love your ideas of adding to them to create fish.
Thank you for sharing your templates. I am a relatively new potter and have looked at those molds at my community studio and could never figure out what I could make with them. They were so boring looking! Boy, have you opened my eyes at the possibilities. Thank you. 🌸🌺🐠🐟🐠🐟🐠🐟
@@annruel1982 Aaaw Ann. You are sooo sweet!! Thank you hun. My algorithm seems really messed up. I don’t get notifications anymore and I even look up videos and they don’t come up for weeks.
You could make dinnerware out of the different fish sizes. Your biggest plate can be a serving then you have the dinner plates and then you have the plate where you put your roll. That would be a very festive and interesting looking table when it’s all set up. I love watching this channel, hopefully someday I’ll get back into doing pottery but until then I can satisfy my need by watching you. Thank you.
The circular as well as the oval ones inspiriert me to do some fruitshaped platters, Like a slice of orange, apple, lime orcitrus. Tomatos, onions.. the posibilties🥰
These don't have the *GR Pottery Forms* stamp. If you have another source for these forms other than GR, please share! I just ordered GR's new shapes with rounded bottoms for plate making but they can only be used to stack with the forms that have blunt edges; they won't (obviously) stack together. As always, I totally enjoy watching your videos, Ann. You are so good at explaining and teaching. Thank you for taking the time to share yourself with us.
Wow, Ali! that is so nice of you. Jim and I both thank you so much! And dont forget this makes you one of the newest members of our Little Street Pottery Research Facility Team members. Keep an eye on our future videos where we will welcome you to the team and Jim will give you a unique title as our way of saying thanks. Happy potting. Ann
I am just thinking that these fish shape plates would be so cool in food takeaways... Where they sell seafood especially around sea coast freshly caught fish fried with chips and salad or mashed potato cream he he he :P Or better if someone is selling they would be signature collection
@@annruel1982 The "ribbit" was for what you do to your slabs. 😂 But I'm limited by kiln capacity for what I can make. Won't get into that though. Always a fan!
Wow! You're amazing Ann!! I absolutely LOVE your fish! Such great decorating skills ❤🎉😊

I’m new here, can I ask what is the name of the clay you use and where to buy it?
can you take 2 "plates " and make a hollow object ... ??
I was thinking about that too. Would be a fun project to try Laura.
