Don't know where you live but I live in Ireland, our police force is and always has been out of control I personally know people who have ended up with criminal records because of the tactics of that garda used on this video, he needs to be removed from his job he is a danger to our citizens.

All you were doing was filming in a public area of the Gsrda Station. Also had civil conversations, the craic with 3 members, attached to Santry Gardan̈ Station. It is unfortunate that two members of An Garda Síochána, bringing the force into disrepute. Specifically, the male Garda, his attitude, was argumentative and belittling with no cause for such behaviour.. Using what he describes, reasonable force to remove you ( which was unnecessary ) from the public area of the Garda Station. The young Garda, unfortunately, didn't want to step on the toes of his colleague . I csn understand his reluctance.. It is interesting to see the outcome of your complaint. He needs training on how to interact with members of the publi. it is worrying. even though being filmed, he had no fear factor, of his disgraceful behaviour being captured on film.

Oh where to start with this one … Firstly Santry station… Not so long ago was frequented by Gardaí who regularly partook in drink driving while on duty, in particular on Christmas Day, because well, they’re Irish and ‘Shure don’t you have to have a drink because it’s Christmas day’. Aye Kegs of beer would be gratefully received from a local pub , the owner of whom was ‘well in’ with the local Superintendent at the time. Kegs put into the back of the ‘Paddy wagon’ (Garda van) and brought to the station a few days before Christmas. Paddy wagon reversed around the rear of the station and the kegs subsequently set up in the large kitchen to the rear of the main building. Christmas Day would arrive … The official marked Garda vehicle, callsign HA1 (Hotel Alpha One’ would put a fake call of ‘dealing with a traffic accident for the next hour’, and so were unavailable to take any further calls). HB2, the Ballymun Garda car (the nearby station) would ‘cover’ and accept any calls destined for HA1. This favour was returned later on the same afternoon, because well, it’s Christmas Day after all. Pints were drank by some of the unit , including the driver of the Garda car, at which point they’d make themselves available to take calls again… It’s no wonder Garda O Killarney (or whatever his name is) is so familiar with there being a strong smell of alcohol coming from your breath. So to the legal side of things… @11:40 “Trespassing”. Section 13(1) of the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act 1994 … it shall be an offence for a person, without reasonable excuse, to trespass on any building or curtilage thereof in such a manner as causes or is likely to cause fear in another person’. FEAR… it doesn’t appear that the Garda was in fear. @12:10 Female joins in with the oft abused Section 8 of the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act 1994 .. “You’ve been given a direction of an Garda Siochána”…. “ I suspect you of loitering in a public place”. LOITERING… Section 8> (b) without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, is acting in a manner which consists of loitering in a public place in circumstances, which may include the company of other persons, that give rise to a reasonable apprehension for the safety of persons or the safety of property or for the maintenance of the public peace. Two adult men standing with cameras doesn’t come near the criteria required to be seen to be loitering as defined within Section 8. @12:23 Female asks if “you know what loitering means”. She should perhaps educate herself on the definition as per Section 8 because she clearly hasn’t a clue. She repeats ‘loitering’ again soon afterwards as being the reason for you being given a direction under Section 8. Again, she’s incorrect. Loitering itself is not an offence. @13:05 Male Garda does appear to love the sound of his own voice. He obviously is not aware that his accent is horrendously painful to listen to. A Monaghan/Dundalk accent. Not easy on the ear. @13:20 “We don’t” need to identify ourselves. Incorrect, he does. As per 5.24 of the Uniform and Dress Code Policy of An Garda Siochána dated 15/08/22. Quote “Members on duty in plain clothes will disclose their identity and produce their identification card to any person directly affected by, or properly concerned with, the duty being undertaken. An identification card should not be handed over, but should be held out on a position so that it can be easily seen and read”. @13:55 Female Garda again mentions the loitering word, a totally lawful activity. @14:03 Male Garda “ Are you going to comply with my requirement, yes or no” 😂 @14:10 Female Garda.. “You’ve been given a direction to leave the area…” Abusing Section 8 to suits themselves. @14:20 Male Garda yet again pulls up his trousers. Presumably they’re falling down because of the amount of time he spends with his hands in his pockets , which in itself portrays an unprofessional image. @14:20 The first mention of intoxicating liquor. “You’re slurring your words”… rich coming from a man with an accent so hideous. @14:35 Section 4 of The Public Order Act intoxication in a public place… Again this is referenced incorrectly. LAW> Section 4(1) It shall be an offence for any person to be present in any public place while intoxicated to such an extent as would give rise to a reasonable apprehension that he might endanger himself or any other person in his vicinity”. Being intoxicated in a public place in and of itself is NOT an offence. The words ‘to an extent’ are the important words in this Section 4. If being ‘intoxicated in a public place’ was an offence , every person would be walking the streets illegally each weekend outside every pub in the land. Such absolute nonsense and yet another example of the Garda not knowing the legislation or simply using it incorrectly to get what he wants. Utter unprofessionalism. As per my opening comment , being drunk in Santry station was tolerated for a long time , even those sitting behind the wheel of a marked Garda vehicle. @16:05 “Do not come into a Garda station while you’re drunk”….. oh the irony. This is quite a common theme unfortunately they get away with it as gsoc is not fit for purpose our garda need a complete overhaul as to how they should deal with the public then they wonder why when they require citizens help in their enquires they can't get it this stinking attitude is partially responsible hopefully his superiors will see this & take action

What a Dangerous Tyrant he is
Oh where to start with this one …
Firstly Santry station… Not so long ago was frequented by Gardaí who regularly partook in drink driving while on duty, in particular on Christmas Day, because well, they’re Irish and ‘Shure don’t you have to have a drink because it’s Christmas day’. Aye
Kegs of beer would be gratefully received from a local pub , the owner of whom was ‘well in’ with the local Superintendent at the time.
Kegs put into the back of the ‘Paddy wagon’ (Garda van) and brought to the station a few days before Christmas.
Paddy wagon reversed around the rear of the station and the kegs subsequently set up in the large kitchen to the rear of the main building.
Christmas Day would arrive … The official marked Garda vehicle, callsign HA1 (Hotel Alpha One’ would put a fake call of ‘dealing with a traffic accident for the next hour’, and so were unavailable to take any further calls). HB2, the Ballymun Garda car (the nearby station) would ‘cover’ and accept any calls destined for HA1. This favour was returned later on the same afternoon, because well, it’s Christmas Day after all.
Pints were drank by some of the unit , including the driver of the Garda car, at which point they’d make themselves available to take calls again… It’s no wonder Garda O Killarney (or whatever his name is) is so familiar with there being a strong smell of alcohol coming from your breath.
So to the legal side of things…
@11:40 “Trespassing”. Section 13(1) of the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act 1994 … it shall be an offence for a person, without reasonable excuse, to trespass on any building or curtilage thereof in such a manner as causes or is likely to cause fear in another person’.
FEAR… it doesn’t appear that the Garda was in fear.

“You’ve been given a direction of an Garda Siochána”…. “ I suspect you of loitering in a public place”.
LOITERING… Section 8> (b) without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, is acting in a manner which consists of loitering in a public place in circumstances, which may include the company of other persons, that give rise to a reasonable apprehension for the safety of persons or the safety of property or for the maintenance of the public peace.
Two adult men standing with cameras doesn’t come near the criteria required to be seen to be loitering as defined within Section 8.
@12:23 Female asks if “you know what loitering means”. She should perhaps educate herself on the definition as per Section 8 because she clearly hasn’t a clue.
She repeats ‘loitering’ again soon afterwards as being the reason for you being given a direction under Section 8.
Again, she’s incorrect.
Loitering itself is not an offence.
@13:05 Male Garda does appear to love the sound of his own voice. He obviously is not aware that his accent is horrendously painful to listen to. A Monaghan/Dundalk accent. Not easy on the ear.

Incorrect, he does. As per 5.24 of the Uniform and Dress Code Policy of An Garda Siochána dated 15/08/22.
Quote “Members on duty in plain clothes will disclose their identity and produce their identification card to any person directly affected by, or properly concerned with, the duty being undertaken. An identification card should not be handed over, but should be held out on a position so that it can be easily seen and read”.

@14:20 Male Garda yet again pulls up his trousers. Presumably they’re falling down because of the amount of time he spends with his hands in his pockets , which in itself portrays an unprofessional image.
@14:20 The first mention of intoxicating liquor. “You’re slurring your words”… rich coming from a man with an accent so hideous.
@14:35 Section 4 of The Public Order Act intoxication in a public place… Again this is referenced incorrectly.
LAW> Section 4(1) It shall be an offence for any person to be present in any public place while intoxicated to such an extent as would give rise to a reasonable apprehension that he might endanger himself or any other person in his vicinity”.
Being intoxicated in a public place in and of itself is NOT an offence. The words ‘to an extent’ are the important words in this Section 4.
If being ‘intoxicated in a public place’ was an offence , every person would be walking the streets illegally each weekend outside every pub in the land.
Such absolute nonsense and yet another example of the Garda not knowing the legislation or simply using it incorrectly to get what he wants.
Utter unprofessionalism.
As per my opening comment , being drunk in Santry station was tolerated for a long time , even those sitting behind the wheel of a marked Garda vehicle.
