You know, if it wasn't for Disturbed, I wouldn't be here today. Literally, it has always been my dream to me them, they are my biggest inspiration and now I am following my dream and I am in 2 bands, rock on Disturbed!
If there is one thing I can tell you as a sound engineer and a musician, it is that these types of vocals are incredibly hard to sustain for long periods of time; which is why they will always sound better in a studio setting where you can mix and match/punch in at will.
I don't know why everyone is complaining about the singer, he sounds great to me. A couple of flat notes here and there, but most metal vocalists don't sing half this good live, especially nowadays.

I mean... It isn't better if there's not a 2nd guitarist, the solo is just bass and drums, It needs at least a keyboard or another guitar to fill the gap, but the performance was great.

i wouldn't say that, you can still tell the difference, like if you listen to a cd right after the concert they will not sound exactly the same, tho they may have semmed like itwhile you were there. like this past summer, and disturbed i could tell were a different live, his voice much higher cuz there were no tools to distort it. but still amazing. slipknot sounded exactly the same while i was there, but when i listened to a cd i could tell the difference.
I've seen Slipknot live, and they played one of my favorite shows, but I'd have to say out of any band I"ve seen live, Mindless Self Indulgence had the most amazing show I've ever been to.
