I personally like the look of the vector cargo box. My main issue, which I don't see much information on is the annoying shaking, and noise it makes if you get into high winds or if you want to drive over 60 MPH. It shakes even at slower speeds, but when you get to higher speeds the chatter and shaking is sometime unbearable. Especially when you are driving for long distances. If that was not a problem I would 100% love this cargo box.
We found that if you stack your cargo so that you have some pressure on the lid with either luggage or other materials. This will hold the lid tight so that it limits the amount of rattle when driving down the road. www.etrailer.com/Roof-Box/Thule/TH613200.html
So it’s not the lid that shakes it’s the whole cargo container. I’ve tried all different configurations with my luggage and other equipment to hopefully stop the shaking.

Depends on your suitcases. The Thule Vector M has interior dimensions of 73-1/8" long x 25" wide x 11-9/16" tall. Thule doesn't make a Vector L cargo box. If you'd care to reply and let us know which other box you were interested in, we'd be happy to help further. www.etrailer.com/Roof-Box/Thule/TH613200.html
Absolutely! The interior height of this box is only 9/16" taller than the Thule Vector Alpine. www.etrailer.com/Roof-Box/Thule/TH613200.html www.etrailer.com/Roof-Box/Thule/TH613501.html

Why are these boxes mounted backwards? The taper is supposed to be at the back but they keep producing them backwards
Good job with the video, informative …
