Valve compression tools are a must have tool. I did a valve job without one and it was so frustrating. As soon as I purchased a cheap one, I was happy. I agree about buying a ‘parts’ bike or parts for supplementary parts. Great video Eric.
I rebuilt one from a trashed field-bike back into a fully-usable roadster. It went from a non-running heap to a good bike, and passed its’ MOT test first-time. The only thing I struggled with was adjusting the awful cable-operated brake caliper.
Second hand prices can get nuts. Any time I have an old or vintage bike, I look to buy a second non-runner or partial bike cheap, for parts. A complete non-runner or crap-runner is often much cheaper than buying just a few parts, and more often than not it'll have the bits you need - and a whole bunch more you can sell off later if you like.
I did something similar last week. One of my old CBR’s was in need of front wheel collars. Bought a whole axle with collars because I couldn’t find any NOS and Honda no longer makes new ones.
hello im from italy i looked at ur youtube channel i just wann it to know that where that u live so i can buy some parts for my bike it is a CB400. thakyou.

A must have. Valves seem scary until you do them. Super easy. Thanks for watching.

If you have the space, buying a whole unit for parts is usually a better deal than dodgy eBay parts.
You are so right. Thanks for watching.
