This is easily one of our favorite state park. The trails are so beautiful and my little ones love the waterfalls. If you are going there with a family, don’t bring a stroller. If you have a little one, a carrier would work best. So cool we were able to feature this place in our Family Travel Vlog.
Never went to the park, but my Grandfather was a young man when the ACE damned up the rivers. He remembered quite well what the Illinois and Mississippi looked like before the locks. He used to take me to locks couple times every summer, under the shadow the the rocks across the shore.
I dont care About the taxes i only care for is how Beautiful the state is And how amazing it is to be here and I love the nature and that's where I'm gonna go to that park
The horse looks to be a draft. They are perfectly capable of pulling heavy loads. Back in the day before machines and such these horses were used for heavy duty farm work
Story time, I live in Ottawa next to starved Rock my whole life you've been work there as a busser in high school, there is a wedding the bride was on the back or the best view was by the restaurant, and they're taking pictures so she sits up on the rail/fence and falls back to her death.
