Labour’s McAnulty slams Govt’s ‘cliché’ 36-point plan | TVNZ Breakfast

  • Labour’s Kieran McAnulty told Breakfast the Government’s 36-point plan reminded him of “that old cliché” of making a list of things to do where “the first thing on the list is to make a list” and you can tick it off and say “well I’ve made a good start”.
    The Labour MP was joined by National’s Chris Bishop to debate the Government’s 36 point-plan, public service cuts and road-side drug testing.
    Bishop said that “tough decisions” had to be made as the Government acted to “clean up the fiscal mess” of the previous Government and to expect to see “action soon” on road-side drug testing.
