    I have been using that radio for quite some time now and you will love it. most definitely worth every penny and it will also up your racing skillz as well. Only thing I wish it had was Bluetooth and wifi connections. This day in age in 2020 it should for what we paid for it. But I guess we cant have everything.

    Hey Elite. Im new to wanting an aftermarket radio and love the quality/looks of the Futabas. I dont race but own a built xmaxx and have a Maxx on the way. Id like a radio for these rc.s but also if i get a boat or whatever and if i end up buying a nitro vehicle or gas boat. I been told to get the T7PXR or T4PM. Id like some nice range.
    Im with the understanding with the Telemetry models that you have to put recievers into each model?
    I know theres the Electric 7PXR and the non electric. I dont know a dam thing about aftermarket radios But definitely want a nice one with nice features/comfort. Even though i dont race i keep thinking if the T7PXR would be a winner for me being it has so many cool things.
    Any idea if either of these 2 i mentioned tell you what your battery life is?
    Id like to run lights off the channels so im guessing maybe get one with more than just 4 channels?
    I dont even understand alot of the names of things that you can adjust.
    You did mention going with a certain 7PXR if your Not running an esc? Dont all rc's have esc's? Maybe i misheard.
    I also like the look of your radio case choice rather than the cheapo Protek ones for these radios. Hopefully can answer these questions. Please email me back so i know when you respond. jdeeress@yahoo.com Thanks

    That is one damn sexy radio. I loved my 7PX when I had it as well as my 4PX. Both radios felt real nice in the hands. I picked up a Flysky Noble NB4 and I can't believe the radio you get for under $200 and FlySky STILL pumping out updates/new features for it as well as different types of RX. Running telemetry sensors on the Noble costs pennies compared to Futaba. Look up how much an external voltage sensor cost on a Futaba vs a Noble.
    I would LOVE to hear your opinion on both after you get a chance to mess with the 7PXR some more.
    For what I paid for my 7PX at the time, I found the screen resolution to be real bad unless you were looking dead straight at it. Same for the 4PX. In the sunlight, the 4PX, 7PX and Noble screens get washed out as expected but at least the Noble wasn't $500+.
    The only things a Futaba has over a Flysky is that the 7PXR definitely looks much better and also, it's users have a higher sense of status while rocking it with the boys or at events, that's just real talk.
    It's all good though, no hate coming at you from this end, just observations from someone that actually spent money on radios and not a troll. There is no way you going to dislike that 7PXR but will you $550 love it? Only you can answer that👊😎🤙🤙

      Try at least $700, More for the Limiteds lol.

    • @Clickbaiters
      @Clickbaiters 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nitetrain7136 That's now because Futaba is ripping off their own customers. Once Hobbico was sold to Horizon and Futaba setup their own US distribution, the 7 series radios went from $550 to $700 for no reason. The V2 7PX and the 7PXR are both priced at $700 currently which is stupidity. I had paid $550 for my 7PX and there is no reason the same radio with a slight face lift and a tad better latency should sell for $150 more. Futaba STILL screws US customers by only including 1 RX in the box meanwhile, Japanese customers get 2 RX and a battery for the same price as US customers. I asked Futaba why do they do this to US customers and the blocked me on Instagram. As of now, the 7PXR is a beautiful looking radio but Futaba can kiss my ass.

    • @nitetrain7136
      @nitetrain7136 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh wow. That’s stupid why the Japanese get 2 recievers and whatever for the price we pay for less stuff. So what should I do for a radio choice with what I mentioned in my questions to Elite? Thanks

    • @Clickbaiters
      @Clickbaiters 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nitetrain7136 For starters, there isn't an electric 7PXR and a non electric 7PXR, not sure what you're referring to there. You don't have to race to own a nice quality radio like a 7PXR, Sanwa M17 or even a KOProPo. Owning a quality radio to run all your RC's on is more than worth it for the extra features you get. At the moment, I can't recommend the Flysky Noble NB4 enough. Why? The receivers are relatively cheap and the clones are cheaper. Now I'll admit, in the case of Futaba, they do offer a cheaper RX at around $40 but where the NB4 shines is in the number of channels (8) and the telemetry is WAAYYYY cheaper to run especially if you want to run temp sensors and RPM sensors. You may not feel that you will need more than 3 to 4 channels but if get into crawlers, 4 channels can sometimes not be enough to run your extras.
      You wanna impress the locals and rock a $700 radio? That's your choice. You wanna rock a 7PXR because ypu simply really dig it? That's fine too. Either way, you'll be happy but I'm happy enough with the NB4 that I sold off my 7PX. If you were to consider a Spektrum radio, I wouldn't look farther than the DX5R, the DX6R is junk. I don't like Spektrum for several reasons and will never use their radios and as such I rarely recommend them.

    • @nitetrain7136
      @nitetrain7136 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks again for all the information. Maybe I’m referring to an electric reciever or something, but it states this in the 7pxr’s protocols I think it was or somewheres where it tells about these radios and Elite even mentioned it in the beginning of this video. Says there’s a model specific for gas/nitro which he has in this video, so not sure about this. I kind of figured if I go top end then I probably wouldn’t have to ever upgrade and would have everything I need. Are any of the Futaba recievers waterproof for use in boats? People say the Spektrum radios don’t have much range which I would definitely like, especially if I get a drone and have it video my truck which would be cool. Not sure how much range I would get But I’ve heard like 1500 ft or something? I really like the layout on these 7pxr’s and the different backlit color options for the screen and the touch screen option etc and how you can adjust the steering wheel etc. Any idea if this radio will show battery life and I’m guessing it should show voltage and temps and whatever else is crucial? I definitely want to run lights and be able to turn them on/off when needed. I’m sure I will have more questions along the way. I will have to check out that other radio you have. Thanks

      My answer to the question is none of this shit they make for the gas hobby is worth the money look at it like this a rcmax 80cc is $3000.00 and so is the alx 85cc but you can buy a crate motor small block stocker engine or a 454 big block for around the same price give or take it works and its about what you want in this hobby nothing is truly worth the price!
