You know, Scott...I'm 63 years old and not big on all the psycological mumbo-jumbo I've heard all around me all my life, but listening to you 'ramble as you scramble' has really hit home with me, especially these last few vids. I hear lots of wisdom in your words and I have enjoyed watching you grow as a person throughout. I have followed your journey since day one and watched every video as you posted them and I admit that I am a bit jealous, lol. At my age, I may never realize my dream of doing the AT, so I want to thank you for carrying me on your shoulders the whole way and teaching me something with every video! You rock!

Yup, I teared up when you were talking about self talk...the AT is an amazing healing place. Congrats! Woohoo! Such an accomplishment! Peace and blessings in your next chapter. 🕊🌈

Thank you for taking us with you. What a hike! You exhibited perseverance, exuberance and acuity throughout your journey, while becoming kind to yourself. I appreciate you showing us how you accomplished your dream. There are few who can do what you have done.

I got emotional watching you cross into Georgia! It's been so wonderful being able to follow along with you from Maine and I appreciate all the highs and lows you've allowed us to see.

Bravo Scott! I have been watching your SOBO videos from the beginning and have thoroughly enjoyed each section video. For those not familiar with Scott's hike, well he left Katahdin early December. Hisi winter traverse of Maine, NH and VT is both outstanding and epically impressive. I grew up in NH, I know the mountains of New England very, very well. This particular GA video is well done and I relate to the self kinder ethic in the second half of this video. I have struggled with this issue and condition. Loving yourself and being more forgiving really does matter. Congratulations on a SOBO for the ages. You are a fine human being!!

So proud of you Scott. You did work hard on your hike. But you have enjoyed it and shown that joy. You have let us be a small part of your journey. Thank you. You always take the joy from a situation. Like it rained and you weren't prepared, but that's Ok. Yeah, you got to see a bear. Just amazing I will miss hearing "that's pretty.". Blessings

Goodness, Scott. Those of us who have seen you trudging through the mountains in Maine, in a driving blizzard, somehow not losing the trail, with a smile on your face, cannot fathom how you could struggle. You seem like a superhero. But isn’t that how it is? We can never understand how impressive our own accomplishments are, and we always think everybody else doesn’t have problems. Just goes to show you that you never know what someone else is struggling with. So be kind. To yourself and to others. Can’t wait to see the end of this trail.

You have done amazing things, inside and out, AquaMan❣️It is blessing to have seen this journey with you, and the way you not only hiked it, but felt it. Your attitude rocks❣️😎 If you put even half the effort and attitude into grad school that you have invested in this journey, you’ll be flyin high through it, the sky’s the limit 😃 God bless you, Scott❣️Thank for taking us along❣️🥰 Marlene the Trail angel, TN.

If it doesn't excite you don't do it! It doesn't matter if it's a trail or grad school or a relationship...It's really that simple.

i was going to comment that I felt the last two vlogs seemed different to me, maybe it's me but maybe it isn't. Anyway was thinking that and was going to comment on it when you went into what has transpired for you and I got my answer. I think you're very lucky you had the realization you had at the beginning in Maine and yes, I think you are right in once it's over I'm sure more will come. I was thinking it was me because I didn't want it to be over and here we are with ONE more vlog and it will really be over for us! Of course I know it's already over but...
Thanks again for sharing and really getting deep on this one! As always enjoyed all your vlogs very much.

Interesting to think that even though you have hiked this path before, neither you or the trail are the same! Some parts will familiar and like old friends while others are new, exciting or even a bit overwhelming. And of course hiking a different way gives you a whole new perspective! I’m so glad you have shared this journey. Can’t wait to get out and do my first section hike this summer at age 62! Thanks for being an inspiration. If times get tough all I’ll have to think of is you in sub zero temps in a blizzard with icicles on your face…still hiking! At least I won’t have to worry about frozen shoes of water bottles!
And now on the the finish and start of your next life adventure.
