I actually found "A Voice in the Wind" yesterday at Goodwill after you recommended Francine Rivers on another video. It is so amazing that then this video was posted today.
Oh Oceana. I keep coming back to watch your content but haven’t really read that much…yet. But more than I was reading. Great suggestions in this vid!! The reason I like reading and am encouraged by you is because of the balance of fun it brings in my busy, physically and spiritually, demanding life. I love my life but find it’s wisdom to have balance. Again thanks!♥️.
I'm so ecstatic that you said A Voice In The Wind!! I started this book and not finished it yet but I also really relate to Hadassah and I teared up literally on like the 1st or 2nd page!! The other books sound really good too, I am currently reading a Christian non-fiction book on grief (can't remember the title) and that one seems good so far even though it was written around the 1970's?
A voice in the wind I absolutely loved! The cross and the switchblade is on Audible subscription 😬score add to TBR! I Dared to Call Him Father 💜🥰 I read this thanks to your recommendations it encouraged me so much. At a time I needed it! Literally what it took just to get a Bible, great reminder of how sometimes we can take the simplest things for granted. So blessed to have unlimited access to Gods word! 💜 Thanks 🙃📚🥰
Have you read Lynn Austin books? She is my favorite author. I highly recommend the "Chronicles of the Kings" series. Such a fantastic series. Truly opened my eyes to the sovereignty of God. You have to get it if you haven't. She does incredible research. It's a biblical fiction series. I read the "Cross and the Switchblade" in the seventies. Great book. Love Tessa Afshar and Francine Rivers.
Currently in around ch 13 of A Long Obedience in the Same Direction and it's a good read! I also got A Voice in the Wind series as a gift a couple years ago but never got to it... but hopefully will start it as my first books of 2025 😬😁
If you get a voice in the wind, make sure you get the other two books from the trilogy (An Echo in the darkness and As sure as the Dawn) because once you finish the first, you are going to NEED and read the next one 😂
If you love The Cross and the Switchblade you may want to read Run, Baby, Run. It's about a gang member who David Wilkerson witnessed to. It isn't necessarily a clean book, but it is a true account of his life as a gang member. Almost a follow up to The Cross and the Switchblade.
The Cross and the Switchblade sounds so good!
A Voice in the Wind!! Yes!!!! One of my favorites!!

Girl get ready. It’s the best book (and the best series) you’ll read!
@@estefir2930 I am looking forward to it! I am halfway through "Redeeming Love" right now.

Love Chronicles of the Kings!

The Cross and the Switchblade movie is on Tubi. It stars Erik Estrada. I watched it as a kid, when CHiPS was on TV. I believe we watched it in church.
I think The Cross and the Switchblade was one of my Grandfather’s favourite films 🎥 😃
You should read Bay Run Baby if you liked the Cross and the Switchblade because it tells the story of Nicky Cruz
