I'm pretty sure someone else has pointed this out, but even if you had managed to water bucket clutch, you probably still would have died. That TNT minecart was falling right after you.
And also, jimmy should've been dead like 5 minutes before that, he never lost the second hour from the boogey kill so the second he ACTUALLY realized that he would've been out anyways unless he got tons of kills. So he should've been out either way
@@ThatCheeseonYT If he threw it down, he would still die to the tnt. If he threw it further away, he risked hitting the ground before the pearl. What he should have done, is make crouch into a toggle setting instead of a hold setting.
I super hope they add in the death messages for the next session. The lightning strikes are super cool but a whole bunch of people were missing deaths because there wasn't a pop up

What I think happened is that Jimmy tried to shift on rails, but shifting only works on full blocks if I'm not mistaking and rails aren't full blocks. So Jimmy didn't glitch off the edge, he just walked off lol
No, crouching should still work on rails. It seems like he did a little jump while crouching forward when he was pushing the tbt, which i think is the reason why he fell

Nah he literally just stopped shifting, you can see it clearly from Grian's POV. He attempted to push the Minecart off and went too far forward while not shifting. Shifting does also work on most non full blocks (including rails) it just that if you go over to another block that's also not a full block it won't stop you. So an example is if you try walking down from a half slab, you still fall but only during the small window you're going down to the other block. Shifting over void or air works just as normal.
Personally, I think it looks like either some connection problems or something on the server. Because around the same time Etho was killed. From his point of view he jumped and was killed midair but people on the bridge saw him standing on the bridge and they killed him there. And with Jimmy's episode, it looked like he stepped through minecart like there were nothing in there and the cart fell after him. But from other's POV - he slipped off the bridge on previous block like he made some sort of mistake.

From Tango's POV (he actually slowed down the footage to figure out what had happened), Martyn got hit by the TNT Tango had placed, threw an ender pearl, and disappeared with the "hit the ground too hard" message. The damage from the pearl killed him. But Etho was there watching and saw Martyn die before teleporting.

He could've survived the fall by enderpearling straight down, but would die to the TNT minecart he just pushed off. Had he enderpearled elsewhere, he would've hit the ground before the pearl landed and he'd die. If he successfully water bucket clutched it, the TNT minecart would've killed him. It was a lose-lose situation.

I think it’s because you got out that it didn’t appear. The death messages were always ahead of the timer. If someone was green then turned yellow upon death, their death message was in yellow. Which is different then the prior seasons. I think the server doesn’t understand what to do when you’re not a green, yellow, or red life. So it just doesn’t do anything.
I think it's this but with the final detail being that the plugin switches them to spectator mode and spectators' messages don't show up for other players
I'm pretty sure no final deaths came up in the chat but everyone else's final death came up on the in screen in big red letters 'GRIAN RAN OUT OF TIME!'

I genuinely believe Jimmy was pressing the shift key, but whether it was a case of his computer thinking the key wasn't pressed, the server thinking he wasn't crouching when he was, or something to do with the rail...in any case, that's just rotten luck.
