Just happened across this today (Thanksgiving Eve 2024) and perfect timing! Excellent refresher course for me. The step by step video was exactly what I needed! I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to all that you have to share. God bless!
Yes honey... I came here to learn a new recipe for turkey wings shoot I learned to make gravy too.. mission accomplished.. thank u for teaching.. I love it.. u have a major and tasteful skill.. ❤️
The wings turned out wonderful. I've been injecting mine for almost 20 yrs now. I figured if you can do that for a fried turkey why not turkey wings. I'm glad you showed how to correct mistakes. A lot of ppl wouldn't leave that in but you did. So anyone who may be a beginner or never did tat will know. My mom would show me how to correct any mistakes and some I figured out myself over the yrs. Awesome job! Now let's eat 😂
Ma'am I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR TURKEYS RECIPE 😊😊😊 I HAVE BAKE THEM FOR THE 5TH TIME IN MY HOME WITH RIBS AND EVERYONE RUN STRAIGHT FOR THE TURKEY WINGS 😂🤣😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰AND THEY LOOK FOR THERE 2ND WING😊😊😊😊😊😊THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS RECIPE. WE LOVE IT😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
No bake your wings like normal in the oven first for about 30 mins or so on 375 and then take your chicken broth out that pan that you cooked them in to make your gravy. Pour your gravy on top of your chicken, cover it up so it can cook together for about 20 minutes or so. Turkey wings are tougher so they needed more time.
Looking good. I usually wash my wings in lemon rub them good. After I soak them in salt , vinegar and water to draw the blood out. Amen then proceed to rub in olive oil and seasoning. Proceed to massage them good. Everything else she did is good. Amen
Nice video! I'm not as heavy-handed with the spices as you are, but, as you say, to each his own! (Bell's Seasoning is my favorite for turkey -- has that how-turkey-tasted-at my Mom's-table thing going for it.) One thing I definitely took from this was the "massage", to really get the flavor Into the whole pieces. Right now "Its Working!" here in my oven! I don't want to get all scientific and bore everyone, but the darkened "appearance" of cooked foods, especially meats, doesn't just have to do with appearance, but its an actual Thing: Browning or searing enhances the flavor, its called Maillard reaction. Think plain marshmallows vs toasted marshmallows for an example. (Sorry for the science lesson). I've only seen a couple of your videos so far, but I like them & will be back watching, when time permits. Thank you for going all out, happy I found you!
Hello, right now I don’t have exact measurements because we normally eye ball everything but you really can’t mess this meal up. We’ll try to be better with giving measurements 😊
I would like to bake my turkey wings like tht I'm half west Indian so I cook my turkey wings different so I going to look real good wild u cook them cherry frm new York 😂😂😂
Yes, vinegar or lemon/lime and kosher salt. I clean chicken, turkey, pork chops, lamb chops and oxtails. First choice is a soak in vinegar water, then rinse. 2nd choice is rubbing meat with half a 🍋 and kosher salt, then rinse well.
@RollingWithThePham Since you don't like using gloves I will never eat your nasty food. What about germs between the fingernails lady. It's only proper. Most blacks cooks on U tube do.
You don't really hv to use gloves in your own home. Just keep your hands washed. It's different though in food /restaurant industry. Just think , ppl hv been cooking that way for decades. I know I hv and every woman and now men that I've seen over the yrs. But bc food shows hv come along ppl start thinking that they hv to use them . Gloves weren't available to the public like they are now. I use gloves when I do a lot of season that I'm going to rub in.
Thanks for the recipe. I have a question about bout the liquid in the package though. I was taught by Mom’s that if moisture/ liquid is in the package of meat regardless of hamburger, fish or steak don’t buy it because it’s either gone bad or is going bad. How close were these wings to the expiration date? I do realize that that date is a “Guidline” to the Consumer but the store can only sell the item at a reduced price or destroy it, and I do understand that the date can be extended without issues by a few days but with poultry and fish I observe the expiration date due to the risk of Salmonella. I also know that by smelling or touching the meat can indicate the freshness of the product. Thanks again for the tips.

Aww thanks for enjoying the video. Yes MD😉
Would you bake for the same amount time for chicken wings instead of turkey ?
No bake your wings like normal in the oven first for about 30 mins or so on 375 and then take your chicken broth out that pan that you cooked them in to make your gravy. Pour your gravy on top of your chicken, cover it up so it can cook together for about 20 minutes or so. Turkey wings are tougher so they needed more time.
I pre soak my wings I wash them then put them in salt and vinegar water it get any blood off of them. They look white and clear.
Looking good. I usually wash my wings in lemon rub them good. After I soak them in salt , vinegar and water to draw the blood out. Amen then proceed to rub in olive oil and seasoning. Proceed to massage them good. Everything else she did is good. Amen
Thank you!

Thank you!! Everyone can learn from each other on this channel. That’s what it is all about😁
You can pour oil vinegar salad dressing over then oh the flavor.
Ok never knew that 😁
I'm cooking my turkey wings with some rice and some fried cabbage with andouille sausage.
Oh yess!!
Is it possible u can provide measurements? I dont want to put too much or too little of the seasonings
Hello, right now I don’t have exact measurements because we normally eye ball everything but you really can’t mess this meal up. We’ll try to be better with giving measurements 😊
@@RollingWithThePham ok. Thank you. Greatly appreciated
I would like to bake my turkey wings like tht I'm half west Indian so I cook my turkey wings different so I going to look real good wild u cook them cherry frm new York 😂😂😂
What happen to black pepper?
I forgot but you can add it 😂
My side dish is Rice 😋
Classic 😊
Do you have a Bake Chicken recipe?
Not a basic one. If you like pesto, we did a baked chicken with pesto, but we can do a regular baked chicken one too.
@@RollingWithThePham yes a regular would be great. Thanks
Rice and green beans
Sounds good 😋
Rice and cabbage
Hey don’t forget the butter. Everything is better with butter.
Oh yes, you right about that 😄
More onions
Exactly, can never have enough!
Why place them several times then go back and tear them up again. Looks good but a lot of unnecessary steps. Will definitely try this
Bed of rice and cabbage on the side
Yes that sounds good 👌🏾
Wash meat with vinegar if u like
Yes, vinegar or lemon/lime and kosher salt. I clean chicken, turkey, pork chops, lamb chops and oxtails. First choice is a soak in vinegar water, then rinse. 2nd choice is rubbing meat with half a 🍋 and kosher salt, then rinse well.
