Number One teacher that gives you straight game. I am with AWS Tech U and will be graduating soon. Hopefully, I end up working with you in the future Raj. I also bought all your courses on UDEMY.
This was a great walkthrough. I attempted this using only AWS docs yesterday and ended up in a loop between the load balancer and target. This was super helpful! Thanks.
Sir, You are making the real required videos for professionals. On You tube generic videos are available for how the service works as default which is ok for beginner. But for Intermediate professional your videos are needed for the challenges they face during work or designing something.. As you are the architect you understood the pain. Kudos to your work.
Man, you made my day. I did only one mistake and was breaking my head. I created two target groups for HTTP and HTTPS and was pointing listeners to each of them. While the 1st target group was fine, the second target group was failing. I just saw this video and realised my mistake. thanks
Thank you!!! I have been trying to do this using AWS documentation and several other youtube tutorials, but without success. This was clear and to the point. Worked first time following your directions.
Nice job. I struggled for a cpl days and found I had to create a load balancer in my VPC, but waw missing the hosted name Alias to the new load balancer rather than EC2. So psyched right now, and its hats off to you for showing my missing step!!!! Thank you for covering this
It's my saviour video. Thanks a lot. I have a small question. At 5:11 minutes can I give /* instead of /index.html? If so what would be the result if I give that way?
Very clear , crisp ,to the point explained! I have been going though several docs to learn what I just leant in this 15 mnts tutorial. Awesome work sir.
Just to help the people who are using classic load balancer instead of application one....this solution only works with application not with classic so u need to migrate to application and then need to delete the classic one and try to convert from http to https 😀🙂 i think this helps it struck me alot so i decided to put a comment over here 🙂
Thanks Raj this is really helpful. I just want to make a recommendation, can you please slow down a little bit and explain some concepts especially to new users of the AWS. Thank you and God bless
Thank you the video is very useful I have question if i want to route two EC2 instance traffic which is running on same port via same loadbalancer with https How can we do ?
Thanks sir for such a nice content. I was trying to achieve the same and I got your video and it made my life so easy. Only thing I want to suggest is you should have added "www" URL also while creating the certificate itself. Anyway thanks again sir for your amazing content.
I am facing a strange issue with this setup. I have a webpage that servs a simple form that collects emails and the form submit method is POST. On submitting the form in the https website, I get a 403 response from the load balancer. On the other hand http works just fine. What could be the issue?
@@cloudwithraj Hi Raj, I received a notification about Route53 pricing change from April 8, 2024. When I tried to renew my domain for 10 years in AWS console, the request failed with error showing [Parameters in request are not valid]. Do you know what are possible reasons for the failure? I live in USA and have a .com domain with AWS
Update: I contacted AWS support team and the solution provided was that I had to renew the Domain for 9 years instead of 10 years. Which worked and they also refunded the failed request amount back.
