    Update: I just made this a few days ago. Mine look nothing like yours (a bar of soap); more like small travel size. This made only four of them, but I really do like them! They feel soft, plenty of suds and have a nice scent.

      Dear I had to mould the the shape as well. Yes, it does not fully harden like a bar soap with sodium hydroxide.. It feels soft on the skin and does not drey out the skin

      @@cecilvig I just placed an order with one of your suggested websites, however: Euxyl 9010 is considered very dangerous to work with.
      My question is: do you have another item that I can use in place of that? I read about a different type of Euxyl, but I wanted to check with you first, because when the order comes in, I would like to make this soap.

    Does it melt quickly compared to cold process soap?

    • @cecilvig
      @cecilvig  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it does. It does not get as hard as a normal bar soap, but can be used under the shower, foams well, does not dry out the skin due to the neutral pH of 7.

      @cecilvig  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As each starch has a different consistency, if you replace the starch I used in the video with another It cannot work with the same measurement of starch as in the video. You will need to continue adding in the starch mixing until the mixture no longer sticks to your fingers.
      Bear in mind, this soap will not be as hard as a bar of soap.
