  • The 2025 Nissan Kicks has been revealed to be back and better than ever thanks to updated technology and features. The SUV is bigger than before with more power, space, and a refreshed exterior.
The Kicks has expanded quite a bit, measuring 4,366 mm long, 1,800 mm wide, and 1,630 mm tall. The new car is 58 mm longer, 40 mm wider, and 22 mm higher, with a 2,657 mm wheelbase that is 38 mm longer.
The 2025 Nissan Kicks embraces a much boxier and more rugged appearance compared to its predecessor. Drawing inspiration from the Chinese-spec Nissan Pathfinder, its front end showcases horizontal LEDs seamlessly integrated within a large black-finished area surrounding the grille. While the profile displays less sculpting than before, it boasts a sportier greenhouse design visually linked to the rear glass. At the rear, uniquely shaped LED taillights seamlessly blend with a black trim reminiscent of those found on the similarly-sized Alfa Romeo Milano.
Inside, the dashboard features a dual-screen setup: one for the instrument meter, one for the infotainment system. The standard meter measures 7 in., while Kicks SR upgrades to a 12.3-in. unit with two display modes: Classic and Enhanced. A new-design steering wheel features a flat bottom.
A first for Kicks, both rows of seats use Nissan's Zero Gravity seating design, helping distribute weight and pressure across the occupants' bodies for a more comfortable seating position to help reduce fatigue.
Compared to the 2024 Kicks, front shoulder room has increased by 1.7 in., while rear-seat passengers will see an additional 0.9 in. of knee room and 1.5 in. more shoulder room.
The Kicks has a total cargo capacity of up to 30 cu. ft. with the seats raised or 60 cu. ft. with them lowered. A small, hidden storage compartment is available below the trunk floor.
Under the hood, Nissan has fitted a 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 141 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque, mated to Nissan's latest Xtronic CVT transmission. Compared to the previous 122-hp 1.6-liter I4, this new 2.0-liter powerplant should represent an upgrade.
Similarly, Nissan is bringing another big feature to the 2025 Kicks by making all-wheel drive available for the first time. Borrowing the Intelligent AWD system from its larger X-trail sibling, every trim level of the Kicks will be offered with four driven wheels (in certain circumstances).
