You should do a video series about the design process. Would be cool to have a video showing exterior choices (color, windows, roofline, etc.) and then another video on all of the interior options (counters, cabinets, loft, etc.)
Need to show construction of these homes as their being built what materials are being used, I see no return air condensers, tiny homes are notoriously known for moisture & mold.
@@streetsmartintelligent Thank for bringing that up. I remember seeing a different video about this problem and had forgotten about it until you mentioned the issue. I hope Mr. Tiny will address it and show what is done to prevent the problem.
This is one of the best layouts I have seen from Mr. Tiny. I particularly like the desk area and the massive amount of storage in the pantry area. Often tiny home designs forget to provide space for storing paper towels, toilet paper, laundry supplies, or things like towels The pantry is ample enough to provide for that as well as food storage.
I like the stairs because they make a turn and not just going straight up. It takes up less room on the main level. This is about the only one I've seen with a loft that I like. I'd use a regular single door refrigerator and put it where the built-in desk is, then put a side x side washer/dryer where you currently have the frig. Then over the side x side washer/dryer add some cabinets above them. It would also make the hallway appear wider and give more storage as well. I love the 6 door cabinet pantry storage. There are only about 3 models I really like and it's because they have lots of cabinets. The first thing I do is count the cabinets. I'd put a vent hood over the stove top and not have a microwave. This floor plan is really nice as it is. I just always look for a way to get a side x side washer/dryer and this one you could change and make it work.
Love all the pantry space! Always needed. Nicely decorated too. The loft area is always nice, especially when family members are visiting and it's another space foe sleeping.
One of the best tiny home floorplan...everything you need ...Love the L shaped kitchen w eat-in counter, separate dining are, desk area....Great bathroom w tiled shower...Likes the wooden panel in the masterboom and entertainment center!
There should be some sort of entrance with heavy duty hooks/organizer for coats, jacket, hats, umbrella, purse, backpack, keys etc. Place for rechargeable vacuum and outlet, broom, mop, dust pan. Also, since EVERYTHING nowadays runs and is powered by some type of USB(2) & C (2) for every outlet inside and outside would be very helpful. Anything to have less clutter. Every model needs to offer these options standard. Also pre wired front and back for ring doorbells and additional cameras. Pre wired under the cabinet lights. Inside closet lights. Area at desk to sit compute. So, i could actually write at the desk. Cut out a spot in the wall directly above the desk, or on the sides of the desk. Overall, great job!
This is one of my all-time favorite 399sf homes; I've watched this video 3-4 times already since it came out. Let's go Mike, let's go!!! Nice one Big Guy.
Mr Tiny you've done it again! I love The Melrose. The colors inside and out are just beautiful. The only thing I would change is getting a smaller side by side fridge. That one is just too big for the space and it comes too far out taking up much of the walkway. Other than that everything else is beautiful.
Yeah, the appliances are always way too large in these. I think they do it as a flex to show they can fit, but I'd rather see something in better proportion to the space.
I think I would put the tv/entertainment ctr. on the small wall going up to the loft. It would open the living space to place a small sectional or dining table. Love it! I would love to go tiny. I really love the desk area maybe placing small light(s) on each side of the walls or under the cabinet of the work area.
I envisioned an opening to the corner of the loft leading to the bedroom with a possible upper loft extended over the bedroom. The loft would only be wide enough for a lounge area to read or gaze out of the window but of course, a picture frame window would be better. This would have to have a removable or collapsible ladder. Eliminate the space between the closet and just give me a full closet across that area. I prefer the steps to be adjacent to the wall, therefore making room for something else. The passageway for the stairs is too narrow. Lol, this would be another challenge. I enjoy your videos and the creations for small spaces. Hey, make the railing see-through for that extension. Yeah!
I like the Melrose, but I would like it better without the stairs, loft and desk. I would like a dishwasher in the peninsula. I would like the fridge where you have the stairs. I would like a full size side by side washer/dryer set up where the stackable is now. I would want a sliding glass door off the bedroom to another 8 foot back porch. Hope this gives you another creation. Also, I didn't like the look of the unfinished wood.
I'm really glad to see that the bedroom has a second window. That definitely makes it feel lighter and airier. Do the lofts look bigger than the bedrooms, in terms of floor area, because of camera lenses & angles -- or are they really bigger? I liked the work area. I'm retired, but I love spending time on my computer. I also need space for nice speakers & extra screens on my computer.
The lofts are typically bigger in floor area because they span the full width of the home, where the bedrooms normally have closets reducing the width. They also go over both the bedroom and bathroom in many models, so are often longer as well.
The porches aren't included in the square footage calculation, which is why they're often large. The interior has to remain below 400 square feet to be classed as a park model home.
I don't know why your designer thinks everyone wants cabin style or all that light wood. How about one with updated modern futuristic kind of designs? Esp with the cabinets.
The kitchen is too long and living room and bedroom too small. That "office space" would we great for kid but not a grown up. Better to put the office in the loft. You should rid of the dresser and make 1 bigger closet.
Mike it's NOT: "We've got A All New Home" for YOU. It should be: "We've Got AN All New...." Dude surely you heard the incongruence in the phrase: We Got A All New.... whenever a whole word begins a vowel then 'A' should be 'An' It's elementary school grammar.

Yeah. It would be great to see the construction process that would support the strength he claims in the walls.

I totally agree, I'd like in blue or gray accents. Love this style. 🎉🎉🎉
Probably one of the best layouts done so far👍

RRC and Mr. Tiny have done it again - what a wonderful and livable design layout in a small space.

Love the wood inside the tiny home and love the barn doors. Also love the porch and 1st floor bedroom. ❤
I really like this one!
Front porch, centralized loft, ample kitchen space/storage.🤗
I have been to other tiny home companies. I will say that the quality of Mr. Tony’s home are unsurpassed from the others I’ve looked at.
I love love this layout the best!! I’ve watched every one of your videos and this by far is the most superior layout I’ve seen❤️
The Melrose is my FAVORITE
Great model. Thank you Mr Tiny.
Would like the front porch screened in for bug-free enjoyment.
YES !!! When I buy one it HAS to have a screen porch. Bugs anywhere in the south, especially mosquitoes, you HAVE to have a Screen porch !!! ❤
This is a beautiful tiny home! I could see myself here!😊
I really like the floor plan of this home. My favorite part is the Centralized Loft💜😊👍👍
I would love this floorplan with a modern style with out a loft.
Love this design!!
I love the the entrance door is pushed to the right corner, not in the middle of the living room.
Love this layout.... could a coat closet be put where the desk is?
Love it … it’s all nice, but of course everyone wants a porch.
You did it again. Everything is wonderful 🎉❤
Love the loft
Great tiny home!
This is light years beyond the loft ladder hangers that are out there.
Another great video Mike. I love the wood accents.
Another beauty!
🥰😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ You are doing the MOSTEST!!!! WOW WOW WOW!!! Incredible!
Love the Melrose. Tho I like the stairs in the back of the house better. But yet again another beautiful home.
I love this model Mr. Tiny! Would like a linen closet in the bathroom; a breakfast bar where the desk is and I think I’m good to go.❤
👍👍👏✅💯🎉 love the whole design
This is about perfect!
This a beautiful home
I love this one every thing about it
Very nice, Mr. Tiny. I love the layout and the natural wood finish.

Can you have another porch off of the master bedroom too? Having one on the front and a screened in porch on the back.
That would be sweet.
LOVE it! Great layout
Beautiful, I would need 15' wide, walk-in closet with screened in back porch 😊
Pretty and practical.
So nice wow 👍
You should build a home with an a-frame ceiling, to allow standing space in the loft.
Wow! Tons of space!
very nice use of 399 sq ft. u guys always nail it, beautiful ❤
I like all the wood!
I love it!
I love this model because it's great for a tall person. I'd just change the color of the wood and the tile in the shower.
I live the layout. Are there other options without having that wood all throughout
So cute I love it ❤

7:39 I want to see a version of this floorplan without a loft. It would free up enough space for a much larger built-in desk.
👍 8' porch

Love this model! It's one of my favorites so far! Any chance you all have any places in or near Indiana or are you only in Texas? 😊
You should show floor plan at some time during each video.
We have decided on the floor plan, we just need to find land that has infrastructure on it in Texas, and it has to be out near Weatherford.
This is the one....
🤩🥰🤩🥰
Always seems to me that the majority of the space that the Porches take could be better used as indoor space. But it's still a nice home.🙂
The porches aren't included in the square footage calculation, which is why they're often large. The interior has to remain below 400 square feet to be classed as a park model home.
Nice tiny home! 💙🍑🍑 14:40
Loft loft loft
Is the loft space included in the 399 sq. ft. ?
No it is not. That's why the ceiling is so low, if it was full height it would then have to be counted and no longer considered a park model.
Tell me you're a mason without telling me you're a mason.
❤❤💯💯✅✅

A waste of loft space unless I was going to fly around the bedroom.
