- On this episode of Living Tiny with Mr. Tiny, we are showcasing Mr. Perry's Meadowview. As you will see today Mr. Perry put so much thought and effort into his home resulting in the spectacular oasis you see today. This Meadowview is something that Mr. Perry envisioned and designed his home with so much care and attention to detail, that before he even got his Park Model he knew exactly how he wanted it to look, and he created exactly that. All throughout the home there are uniquely mesmerizing decor pieces that Mr. Perry has collected from all over the world on his many travels.
Something special that Mr. Perry did is turn the main floor bedroom into his at home office. This is an option that we suggest here at RRC all the time but we rarely get to showcase in the homes. So yes, since Mr. Perry uses his main floor room as a office he has put his bed in the loft of the home. There were so many personal touches and design options in this home that we couldn't even cover them all but we would like to Thank Mr. Perry for allowing us to film his home so we can showcase what is possible to do in your 399 Sqft. Tiny Home.

I enjoy your videos Mr. Tiny, and I especially enjoy 'Tiny Home Tuesdays'. This one really was special as it wasn't just small, it was actually somewhat decadent. The design and decor truly made this model into a masterpiece that anyone would love, if not as a full-time home, certainly as a lake house type home. I am glad you took your time and really went through this bad boy. If you read this comment Mr. Perry, you Sir are an artistic genius and I salute you for what you've done here inside and outside. I love how this house is furnished,the master upstairs is perfection,and his garage/carport is perfect because when you have a nice car,you do not want it baking in the weather all year round.I love seeing these homes in the real setting.Thank you Mr Perry for letting us see your pretty home.

I love that this home showcases what's possible in the loft. Looking at empty loft spaces is nice enough, but it doesn't really tell us much. It's great to see that a bed that's even on a short frame can fit nicely up there. I think I would want my bed to be placed underneath the highest point in the loft, but I understand wanting to have it right next to the stairs.
I love the idea of turning what would normally be the bedroom into an office/lounge. And having the bathroom exit door placed at the far end was a smart move.
Mr. Perry's home is just stunning! He did an excellent job with the decor. I love that he had a car port right off the side by the garage. I love the layout of The Meadowview and it looks bigger than 15x36. Just beautiful!!

When "tiny houses" became popular it was because it was as way to downsize. To reduce your expenses to allow you some freedom from the expenses of a costly full size house. That's not really the case anymore and it used to be that you couldn't get a mortgage for them. So tell me, how can anyone afford one of these now without financing it? I know that at these prices they are out of the realm of possibility for me now!
There are companies that finance these homes so yes they have a mortgage. Some people who sell their brick and mortar home can pay cash for a Park Model tiny home. Bought mine 3 years ago and the payment is very reasonable.
Me too. They are absolutely beautiful, but just so far out of reach. I was hoping at some point to downsize into a tiny home but as I've watched many videos and checked prices, there's no way I can afford one, either. At my age, it doesn't make sense either to transition into another 20-30 year mortgage, either.
Affordable mobile homes are out there, it's the customization and add-ons that jack up the price.

It was all beautiful, but my favorite thing was how the home and carport/garage was placed, along with the landscaping. Is he renting 2 lots or just one? The land mass is great, which allows for a prettier layout like he has done here. I like this so much better than a carport lined up at the end of the home. The curb appeal is very nice and he actually has a yard. Most lots don't allow for that much. Congrats Mr. Perry. Nice cozy place!
I just toured the RRC tiny home community and saw this home when the agent went past it in a golf cart (even nicer looking in person). It's on one lot but YMMV depending on where your lot is in the community really decides what you can do. Some of them you can only get the house in and that's it aside from a parking space. Some of them are situated in a way that you can put yours side ways and do what he did (mostly lots on corners or curves in the road) For disclosure there's very few lots that let you do what he did left.

I definitely love the Living Tiny with Mr. Tiny series. I missed this one when it came out but it is definitely like the man-cave vibe Mr. Perry has created in this home. Favorite feature is the bedroom gurned into a den. Absolutely beautiful.
I know Mr. Perry. He made a lot of $ as a singer in the Michigan/Wisconsin based 'Yoopers.' To hear him sing 'Da thirty point buck' is as mesmerizing as Whitney Houston singing the Anthem.

This was a fantastic show!!! Mr. Perry sure hit a home run with this property, thought out thoroughly in advance and executed with care. Everything about this is top notch. I particularly like the way the greens work with the various wood tones, and the unfinished ceiling being lighter makes it more visually airy. The furniture and decor not only work, but all look great and match well. Love that bathroom style and the office is great. Your closet doors look so perfect in that environment. This truly showcases what can be done with a tiny home, and that doesn't even stretch to the porch/fireplace/landscaping/garage.
Rustic like that is not my day to day style, but it strongly reminded me of some vacation locations from my youth and I could see that as a very relaxing place even for myself. I saved this to my Favorites list so I can revisit it for future enjoyment and inspiration.

When I win the lottery I will hire Mr. Tiny and RRC to build me tiny home community in my town. We desperately need affordable housing. Especially for our seniors and disabled population. RRC and the like could help with that. My problem, besides money lol, is zoning. I have a lot to learn. Keep up the great work Mr. Tiny and RRC!!!

Omg. I really am blown away. I also envision attached garage/carport and huge porch. Also the landscaping is bomb. For me just add screen on porch and I’m good. Awesome place. Would be great to get a ballpark on the cost of an attached small 1 car garage.
As a fellow Michigander myself I love that he put so many momentoes in his home so you know exactly where he's from. It's really cool. And I love that art work he did.

Love it! The only thing I would change is to find another location for the stackable washer/dryer, or at least somehow cover it up with a barn door or a pocket door, as I've seen in other Mr. Tiny models. It really stands out and looks out of place when you're in the living area. If you're going to go ALL out, as Mr. Perry has done here, it seems that this would be included.
The colors outside remind me of Lincoln logs - the colors. It’s gorgeous! ❤

WOW! WOW! WOW! I love this! The colors and the cabin style with the logs.. beautiful! That is by far the best front deck area I have seen. It's huge and the furniture is great, with the rock fireplace being the show stopper! I am so happy to see the downstairs bedroom as an office. When I get a tiny home someday, I plan to put chairs and a sofa in the downstairs room. I love what Mr. Perry has done with this home! Oh and the garage and carport- again, WOW!

I’d ONLY change the decor such as the floor to darker like the bedroom door, ceiling I want whitewashed as well as all the doors and probably the trim and soffits through out the home, the fireplace wall whitewashed shiplap on that whole wall, and of course the lighting a little more feminine, although I do LOVE the antler kitchen light❣️ 😍

Wow! Every inch of Mr. Perry’s home is beautiful. It’s hard to pick a favorite part of this home. Mine would be the porch. I would spend the majority of my day out there.
Love the cabin style... Unstained ceiling makes the home much bigger... Also likes the carport, storage, and the wrap around porch... Hope if could be screened!!! Also likes the window treatment for the top windows!
I absolutely loved this ENTIRE HOME! The garage and the front porch seating areas were definitely my absolute favorite places. Converting the master bedroom to an office space was incredibly GENIUS!❤❤❤

It’s nice to see a lived in tiny home it shows what can be made of them.This one is as luxurious as any home and much more manageable for someone who is busy ,but want a home to come back to.I love how he did the bedroom with a cut down real bed too.Looks much better than a mattress on the floor .It’s a warm cosy welcoming home.🥰

You can hear a nice difference in acoustics with the carpet in the loft. If I had a tiny house, I would want the office downstairs as well. I would want a toilet and sink in the loft as well, so that I wouldn't have to go downstairs during the night.

I can tell you like and admire Mr. Perry. Interesting, all the things from Michigan. I grew up in the Air Force and we lived on K.I. Sawyer, AFB, Michigan (Upper Peninsula) for 2.5 years, then transferred to Barksdale AFB, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
My brother and 2 sisters and I loved Michigan because the base had a private ski hill (two hills, not the greatest) and I could ski from the larger hill, all the way to my backyard (with a little "cross-country" style skiing - but it was very close). We also had snowmobiles and a National Forest right outside the gate. We had a minibike for the summer, and two small sailboats. The forest was beautiful. Our church was in Marquette at the time, and the highway through the forest was beautiful, and we never went off the road or had an accident or mishap. Our house was a curve and in front of our house was a roundabout on Sidewinder Street, and the snowplows used our front yard as a place to scoop the snow and dump it there. I didn't mind because it was fun to dig tunnels through the front yard. As long as you were dry, it was pretty warm in those tunnels even though it was snow. Somewhere between K.I. Sawyer AFB and Marquette (closer to the base though), there was a store that had everything from hardware to clothes and it was jam-packed with inventory. They even had some ski equipment. But, what I remember most about it was that it smelled like a hardware store is supposed to smell. I loved that store and usually bought something whenever we would go there.
It was nice to hear Michigan mentioned, particularly the Upper Peninsula, and have some memories from so long ago. To give yoiu an idea how long ago that was, the big song right before we moved from there was called "Popcorn" and also a song by Bobby Vinton - "More than You'll Ever Know" (Moja droga, ja cię kocham).

I'm so happy you reviewed this home, I was considering it because I'm tired of renting and I'm not wanting to invest in a home that is $500 and up, nor a condo with a HOA. This seems like a livable option. However, modular home or mobile would be more doable.
That is a beautifully-organized boat garage. I think I have seen this, and I believe he was in the military? It shows.
There is a reason I am watching this again - the combo of the tiny house and garage/carport, plus one more thing...
