The last couple minutes of this session was gold…the reality check of trying to harness raw natural frustration and drive at the possible expense of new holes in one’s body is humbling to say the least. I have been following / closely studying your videos since my starting to work my GSD pup at 6/7 weeks old and he is now a healthy, hearty, gamey 80+ plus pound intact male learning the protection work. Thanks for what you do man. Stay safe
That’s totally amazing and you are a master at your craft. It makes sense to me, yet, I’d still have to watch it a few more times just to see how to implement your concept and routine to practice it. Phenomenal video
Excellent video! I like how you showed how he got out of control and you calmed him by using your energy (lowered ) and serious to calm him. Thank you! Love it
Care to share what brand of kibbles you’re giving to that Belgian Malinois? I have a BM but it’s been a problem on my end ever since what dog food to give her. I keep changing from brand to brand. She would eat it at first then will eventually give me a hard time just feeding her. TYVM
You had a video yesterday on the 9 of oct I'm the one that ask about a cat when training your dog you said I need to join you but my pH had trouble what was it and what do I need to do
Question - But first I just want to say Great video as usual! Anyways as you said by dropping the kibbles may cause disconnection problems from focus in the future well its happening to me did you say you had a video to show how to solve this lol ?
Great videos!! One question: I plan on feeding my future GSD a raw diet and I understand the concept of the dog working for his food. My question is how can I implement this concept with a raw diet?
Not an expert here .....imo ...you can cut up the meat in smaller pieces and use . would suggest having the dog do more reps of something before feeding since you will have less pieces of food to give. if you give treats during the day have the dog work for those as well. Can be done with toys. Make the dog work for the toy.
Is it possible to own a dog and train it by yourself (including protection techniques)it wont be any problem in the training or in its attitude on you?? Nice video btw pls someone answer!?
Obedience should be no issue. Protection maybe depending on what you want to. Resource guarding shouldn’t be a problem. But for personal protection as such probably professionals.
Curious why u dont just say “yes” as marker but instead you use these interesting sounds? Ive always just thought trainers use “Yes!” Or “yes good boy!”.
you should try getting a mic setup, that way you won't have to yell and be out of breathe. Like the small ones that you clip onto your shirt. I notice in a lot of videos you're far from a camera and you have to raise your voice,

Can I get to this level of engagement with a 3yo lab? I would start over with the whole heel position as he hasn't got a perfect one and I'm not really seeing improvements the way I've been doing it, basically self taught so you can already imagine how bad it is 😂 he did get better in these 6 months but he can't keep his head looking up or even ignore odors and dogs around.
“You want power? Power comes at a price.” - brilliant way to sum it all up 👍

What does choep mean?
@@IndianChristFollower it is used as a marker, same as you would use "yes" to mark the behaviour you want, say it with me... "choep"

Thanks for the tutorials, I've seen almost everyone and they've helped me a lot in teaching my puppy

Interesting how right from the beginning you gradually saw it coming! My respects Sr!
Wooow this work with my 9 years old staff 😳😳 thank you 😍😍
Great video and very impressive dog.
As you mentioned how he’s like a Ferrari he almost got you in the face. Saying he’s got fire. We’re able to see how you handled that situation 👌🏽
That german shepherd is a beast 💪
I’m sure it’s a Belgian Malinois
@@asyd4625 there is also a GSD in the video, after the Malinois.
You’re absolutely right. Very good looking one at that. Thanks for clarifying as I never watched it till the end. My fault 🤦🏼♂️

I have really been struggling with my Aussie - I am going to working this. He is 15 months is it too late for this?

Try string cheese and homemade jerky (no preservatives).
@@cjfishtales2238 my dogo loooooves cheese. Ball >Meat>Cheese>treats>kibble>me
@@keiffer_adam i would say in the case of the puppy. I've made the switch to raw after house training. Just easier on the puppy and me! lol
Use livers
Trying to picture this with my corso/boerboel.

How do you do all this with a short dog haha
amazingggggggggggg hi from brazil
Do you have any videos or experience with Akita's?
How do you plan on getting the Malanois more excited?
You never use the release command from the heal, is that bad, bc she doesnt remain in place.

I feel bad about myself, my dog understood focus heeling in 1 week even tho im pretty sure i was doing it wrong :)
