The idea of being old and just sitting there with nothing but regret for all the lost opportunities is a thought that terrifies me, life doesnt wait for anyone so its either get busy living or get busy fading away. And i also found it very strange and almost unsettling to see these old western guys with 20 year old Pinays but it does seem to be genuine from both sides and the girls dont seem to be gold diggers primarily in these relationships, after all just less than 100 years ago it was completely normal for an older man to have a much younger wife in the west too.

One of the many good points about the Philippines is that there's no stigma here. You can go about your daily business like grocery shopping, going to the bank, or pharmacy, dining out, and the service you receive is great. No strange looks. The Filipino people are very nice, kind, respectful. They address you as Sir and your younger wife as Ma'am. You really don't even think about being in an age gap relationship. Maybe once in a few years you might get a look from another foreigner, usually an older woman, but that's about it.

They try to give a good reason to be with her, but its just money for sex and being a gf. Most of the expats have limited in come, extreme political views from their country, sex maniacs, drunks, smokers,,,,etc,,,,They are undesirable in their countries, so they go to the PI and pay for companionship. But the majority in the long run go home,,,,,,
