One of the many things I envy about the Wander Women is their ability to Squat. Yes, Squat. Squatting is so useful when you are backpacking. Great video. Looks like too much fun!
Loved the elk walking around with their town faces on. Your friends are awesome and it looks like you are having so much fun. The camp areas look really nice for out in the wilderness. Congrats on 1000 miles. Another wonderful video. Take care, be safe.
Wow! And I thought Oregon was beautiful. These Northwest states are gorgeous. Congrats on 1000 miles. I listen to your playlist while I'm on my walk or hike & I think of you girls. You rock!
Wow! Not sure how many times I have said the words beautiful, breathtaking, gorgeous! But they all still apply! You ladies are so amazing! Thank you so much for taking me with you. ❤
I just arrived home, near Yosemite after being up in this region for a week so I had to re-watch. My sis and I backpacked a teeny section near Odell lake in Oregon and then headed to cascade locks and drove a crazy road to hwy 12. A goat something coffeehouse in pack wood had the most amazing coffee and then we headed to rainier to backpack another teeny portion near sourdough gap and deewy lake. Soooo enjoying your videos as it is assuring me that it is possible for me to do this when I retire in 4 years. Thank you, thank you for sharing.
Greetings from the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state! I always look forward to your videos but especially now that you are in Washington! What a beautiful state! Y'all are very inspirational! Hike on! 💛💛💛
Loved the music and scenery- beautiful section! We woke up to heavy drizzle this morning - first moisture in months- felt great hiking in cool wet weather
1000😆. Just when I think I've seen the most beautiful scenery, your videos never cease to amaze me with more. I just love all the people your connecting with. Thanks for sharing so much of what your experiencing.
Congratulations on your first PCT 1000 miles!!!!!!! Looks like Kristi broke in her new shoes on that rainy muddy trail. Thanks so much for letting us watch your progress.
What a blessing to have something and someone to watch after a really long hours and tough week at work. Your videos are much more relaxing than the old "take me away Calgon soak commercials. The much younger generation may not know about the Calgon😄. Thanks for the generous scenery.🦋❤
I have been watching your videos for a while and hoped to run into you. I did an out and back from Snoqualmie to Mirror lake 3 days before you were there. And then when you were getting into Snoqualmie I was taking off (in the rain) for a loop trail up Denny Creek to Malakwa and Pratt lake. So close but did not cross paths. Good luck on the rest of your hike. I start a SOBO section J on the 19th so will again miss you all.
I thought of you ladies as I hiked up Ape Canyon Trail to sleep at the base of Mt. St. Helens yesterday. It was amazing to wake up this morning and look out my tent to see that hulking beast right outside my tent! You ladies always inspire me to do hard things!
Wandering along with you in spirit as you walk in new shoes with a great tribe and adventuring minds. Yay for 1000 miles !! Have a group of friends and family who keep asking about you. From our tribe to yours - we are with you all the way !
Nice to have friends join you on trail. I have a friend hiking sobo. He was at skykomish a week ago and is hoping to stay on trail. He said his age (70s) is kicking his behind. You ladies are crushing it.
When the girls were eating the berries at 14:35 and you just said "BERRIES" in a low voice, I started to laugh because I just thought of when you call yourself feral. 😂😂
I have been corrected on the boarder being opened for hikers crossing. If you want to cross then you better check with the Canadian government. On line should tell or with PCTA web site should have current update. Sorry for the incorrect information. Colder weather coming soon so enjoy.
A pancake sounds really delicious after 4 or 5 days on trail! 😋😁👍 I thought the Cascades were all along in Washington, but I heard you say you were almost there and since you're already in Washington.... 😁 Keep going girls! ATB
So glad you have some company for this part of your journey. Nothing like being with friends to re-energize. Also loved the view of Lynn watching grandchildren videos, ohhh so sweet :) We just got rain here today for the first time in over 8 weeks (we are just north of you) hopefully you are getting some of this relief too. It should help with these wildfires and smoke. Stay safe, have fun.
Congrat's on 1,000 miles!!! That's a lot! I'm surprised that CNoc hasn't burst on Netti because she puts a lot of pressure on it to get the water through the Sawyer. I use a tornado coupler and jut hang it from a tree and it just pours into the Smart water bottle. Sounded like Somebody cut da Cheese!!!! LOL John from MI
You ladies are doing absolutely amazing. You are crushing the miles. 1000 miles can't believe it. You guys make it look easy. How are the bugs? Saw a video from HRC and they were hating black flies and mosquitoes. Beautiful. Keep trekking. 😀
I love these videos. I do wonder why so many hikers put pop music in their videos though. It’s so nice just to listen to what’s around them or their footsteps. Otherwise, music should match the scenery, right? Anyway, love the videos either way. Thanks for sharing the journey!
Got time to catch up on your journey. I got a tibia stress fracture at the very end of my AT journey. But I am finished with AT it was a very tough journey and very beautiful.
wow beautiful country side ohhhh cool van!!! Sure hope no one sleep walks. wow some views Susie looks like she is a ton of fun. Making the most of the area she is in. Have you guys gone through the black biting fly infestation areas yet? Seeing so many say it is making them want to quit and I have to agree with them those things look horrible and not giving up on laying all over people and getting into everything.
Can you remind me of what video editing program you are using. I've been trying to use the Video Editor that comes in Win 10 which I just bought for just this reason to edit my videos but my computer keeps crashing whenever i try to edit a video. You do such a great job. I always look forward to each and every adventure that you gals are doing. Blessings, Teri
I have to share what a joy you ladies bring to me and my 93 yo mother. We love watching your videos. I ask her " wanna go hiking with the girls"? Oh yeah she says. If you could give her a shout out, that would surprise her and cheer her up.
This may sound like a stupid question, but i am curious: after months of hiking, how much weight do you lose when the thru-hike is over? As always, wonderful video. Take care always
I've been seeing ypu collect water from piped springs, at times. Do you filter it? I have done both-not filtered it, with no bad consequences, and filtered it-because I don't want to take the risk.
My wish for you three ladies is that you can somehow feel how much you are loved by so many.
Absolutely beautiful scenery 😍 thanks for sharing. The llamas were really neat. I'm loving this journey. Love you three ❤
Talk about a "can-do" attitude!! I just love watching your videos.
One of the many things I envy about the Wander Women is their ability to Squat. Yes, Squat. Squatting is so useful when you are backpacking. Great video. Looks like too much fun!
Yep...every time I see them do their full squats I am so envious!!
Me too! If I could just bend my knees like that!
Me too! I can squat just don't ask me to stand back up. Lol
It's not always easy for me to get back up!! Lol
We should video when we stand up.😃
Loved the elk walking around with their town faces on. Your friends are awesome and it looks like you are having so much fun. The camp areas look really nice for out in the wilderness. Congrats on 1000 miles. Another wonderful video. Take care, be safe.

You are living amazing lives. You’re lucky to have each other!
My dog went nuts when she saw those Elk
When the girls were eating the berries at 14:35 and you just said "BERRIES" in a low voice, I started to laugh because I just thought of when you call yourself feral. 😂😂
Yes I love it when they call themselves Feral! I am going to hike the PCT next year and I've started telling people that I'm going to go feral
@@dwnk72 that’s awesome!

Those mountain huckleberries! If you eat a lot of them, they'll give you gas, but it's worth it.
You ladies are doing absolutely amazing. You are crushing the miles. 1000 miles can't believe it. You guys make it look easy. How are the bugs? Saw a video from HRC and they were hating black flies and mosquitoes. Beautiful. Keep trekking. 😀
The bugs are off and on. Some areas worse than others.

Her name is Virgie.
Do you carry bear bins or anti-smell bags on this trail? Bear spray? Amazing you have had so little rain on your journey!
Be honest, how many pancakes did you ladies order? I know in my mind, I had a triple stack with a side of sausages.
FYI, the Canadian border is opening tomorrow. Should you choose to cross then bus down to Vancouver and south.
Welcome aboard Susie and Varda.
Can you please tell us specificially what kind of shoes you each wear?
Hoka Speedgoat 4 and Altra

Town faces :)
This may sound like a stupid question, but i am curious: after months of hiking, how much weight do you lose when the thru-hike is over?
As always, wonderful video. Take care always
I loose about 10 lbs, but I start a little heavier than I would like.
@@lynnedmiston5237 thanks for the reply.
Annette and I really only lose 4 or 5 pounds.
@@wanderwomenkristyannette5021 thanks for replying
✨ 1,000✨🎊So inspiring!✨💪✨ Those trees at 11-are they from the bark beetle?
It was a burn area.
@@wanderwomenkristyannette5021 Thanks!
