    Haha. I just got 1 board at 2 foot by 6foot. Got another board at 7 foot by 2 foot. . Drill the 6ft board to the two cut pieces and vola ..done in 10 minutes.

      Oh right on. I wish I had used a planer on both sides before the glue up. The table now has waves in it but serves its purpose nicely.

    You had clams, you had glue , you have all required tools in place to bring the project to $40 budget. I think your statement is only applicable for folks who has this setup in place.

      This is correct. I might as well say FREE and use my scrap wood.

    Did you glue the legs to the board

      Hey Michelle, I used pocket holes to screw In the legs.

      Yes mounted a 2x3 to the studs then laid the counter on top and screwed it in

      Sorry bro I just mounted a 2 x 4 to the wall and place the countertop on that
