You had clams, you had glue , you have all required tools in place to bring the project to $40 budget. I think your statement is only applicable for folks who has this setup in place.

Oh right on. I wish I had used a planer on both sides before the glue up. The table now has waves in it but serves its purpose nicely.

This is correct. I might as well say FREE and use my scrap wood.

Did you glue the legs to the board
Hey Michelle, I used pocket holes to screw In the legs.
Did you secure it up on the wall or no?
Yes mounted a 2x3 to the studs then laid the counter on top and screwed it in
