You showed us the easiest part, that everyone knows. Now how are you going to connect these two sheets on the roof with the rest of them? In my case they are 3m long and I have six of them. I can't just lift all of them at once up on the roof construction. It's incredibly stupid and impractical system who ever come up with that.
I regretted so bad when I purchased this type of sheets
Totally agree with you I'm in the same situation 15 ft long panels by 4 ft wide 20 ft in the air with a section slope I did three panels by myself don't ask me how I have no idea but with another person and two ladders it's a lot easier and I used to heck of a lot of WD40 to slide it in the track still haven't figured out a way to get it in the track while it's on the roof from the side could only do it from sliding from the beginning but when it pops out it's a goddamn nightmare to finish product is pretty nice I will admit but this design of these H tracks is pretty dumb and should be updated I'm sure all the other videos online have metal connectors which make it look so much easier than trying to slide a 15 ft long panel on a 6-in slope in the air without it falling out right
My very very first saw when my neighbor asked me to do it for him and I lied and said yeah I can do it was to connect them all like in this video and then slide them up the roof together but then there would be no way to attach them to the wood beams because you have to get in between the panels to screw it down so that idea was out the window and I had to do one at a time because I couldn't go on top of the roof it wouldn't hold my weight but yeah it's all done now and now I know that I never really want to do it again unless I have extra people to hold it up on the other end other than that it was okay and those tracks are a nightmare I tell you the first one I thought was for a couple hours because I had it upside down thinking the long Edge was on the top yeah then I finally figured out it was upside down and went a little bit better but yeah lots of WD40 I know your posts are pretty old but I just did this yesterday so I wanted to say you're not the only one out there hating on this stuff but I got paid 400 bucks for doing it so whatever oh yeah and don't forget to wear gloves because when you try to slide it above your head with no gloves it will slice the heck out of the sides of your fingers another thing I did not know

Ang installation sa PC kapatid depende sa lawang o sukat ng paglalagyan..Mura lang yung H connector ang PC ang mahal..

The H connector is designed to be attached to the rafters. You have to separate the two pieces install the bottom piece to the rafter and install the cap on the top to lock it down.
He isn't using two-piece snap profiles.
This type doesn't have 2 pieces, I regretted so bad when I purchased this h channel it's sucks so bad and is very hard to install by yourself

Do things as straight forward and as simple as possible especially if you're demonstrating. Just show how to connect 2 panels together not have 100 panels all piled up. Haphazardly sliding in the panels randomly!
kuya tanong po, pwede po bang gamitin ang H-connector para magdugtong ng Acrylic sheets? kung pwede po, anong thickness po ng acrylic sheets ang compatible sa H-connector? pwede po ba kahit 1.5mm, 1.8mm or 2mm lang? Salamat po!
Hello Kapatid.. appreciate ko Ang Yung pagcomment at pagtatanong...Ang H-connector kasi ay nakadesign talaga para lang sa polycarb..pero maari mong gamitin sa acrylic sheets..Kung maluwang lagyan mo Ng clear silicon para kumapit Yung sheets at di pasukin Ng tubig.🤗🤗🤗
@@JMN835 salamat po sa mabilis na reply! balak ko po kasi gawing divider yung acrylic sheets (mala-pader po talaga) para madivide ko po yung area na e-airconan para makatipid po sa kuryente... may kalakihan nga lang po, kaya kailangan pag dugtong dugtungin.. kulang kulang 3 meters po yung taas ng ceiling tapos mga 5 meters po yung haba ng wall... pano po kaya diskarte sa ganon? salamat po ulit!

Pwedi po ba ma bend ang polycarbonate into 45 degree or any degree po? If no Pwedi po ba ma bend yung connector nya? Balak kopo kasi mag DIY nyan at pa 120 degrees yung bend ng square tube na pag lalagyan ng polycarbonate. Thanks po sana mapansin mopo
Hello...yes pwede mabend Yan dahil plastic lang Naman Yan..ngunit depende sa paglalagyan mo..pero Kung SQUARE Ang paggagamitan mo, kailangan mo na magcutting tapos Yung mga dugtungan lagyan mo Ng silicon Yung ginagamit sa pagkabit ng salamin..

Okay pretty much a pointless video it's obvious that you slide the track in like this but I was looking for some way because the sheets I'm using are 15 ft long by 4 ft wide and up 20 ft in the air and on top of that the roof is on a slope 6 in so you're going uphill there's no way to slide it like this with one person and hold the other end up 20 ft with you you need four hands and it's much much easier the roof I'm doing has four panels I'm on the last one I did the first three by myself with two ladders it was a damn nightmare I tell you you just need somebody to hold the other end so you can slide it in I was looking for a video online to see if there's any way to push the panel into the track while it's already on the roof but there's no way to do that my savior was WD-40 in the track will help slide a hell of a lot easier and make your day a lot better but have not found a better way to do it yet it's easy to do on the ground but when you're Fighting Gravity and on ladders it's a pain in the ass they're not heavy but when they're 15 ft long you have to keep it straight and have the other end equal so you can slide it in
