iOS 18 Beta 3 Rerelease: Every New Feature

- Apple recently put out an iOS 18 Beta 3 rerelease update, and here’s every new feature.
Starting with the emoji picker, which has been changed back to the way it used to be, before the Beta 3 release. With smaller emoji and no Memoji page. I’m not sure why Apple backtracked this change, as I thought it was a nice improvement. So hopefully it’s reimplemented in the future. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี

I’m glad they shrunk the emojis to how they were before. My muscle memory was not liking the enlarged emoji keyboard lol

Yeah I hated it. Especially since I just started getting into emoji and just memorized most of them are. But it definitely should be and option for those that want it.

I completely disagree with you about the emoji picker. The old shrunk emojis were way better and I hope they don't change that. Lets ALSO HOPE they CHANGE BACK the PHOTOS app!
Ya seriously it’s not a very intuitive design it’s actually pretty confusing and there’s really not any new feature there they just moved everything around like stick to day grouping faces then landscapes then honestly some thing the latest files to the smallest, what they need to do is work on the camera and adding in some adjustabilty, better auto focus and exposure setting, locking the exposure or brightness what ever it is next to the box when you touch the screen. Maybe instead of these vivid cool and warm whatever, something that really focused in on far away landscapes, a way to get extremely close to something and still get a clear picture then after mastering that being able to get extremely close to an object then being able to zoom in to super detailed closeness that would be nice
I cannot stand the new zoom on photos, you can only zoom at one side of a photo at a certain position. I use photos to reference information off of and I hate having to put it close to my face to read

Do you need iCloud to backup? Or is there some other way. I want to get the new beta. Any help would be very appreciated
@@jahrn692 I think if you connect your phone to your computer via the computer iTunes app, you can store a local backup on the computer? I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure you can do that
A 50GB iCloud thing is $1/month so getting it for a month and dropping it isn’t that bad of a method too

I hope they make it an option to change the emoji size cuz I liked the bigger emojis. It was easier for me to find them😢 I have such a difficult time finding emojis cuz their so compact and smooshed together basically
The previous emoji facelift was horrible; they were so big and spaced away from each other that it took scrolling forever just to find a simple emoji, especially that I've memorized their positions previously (which are now back). At one point my fingers hurt trying to find the good old crying emoji (yes, I know I can search but that's besides the point). I did like the stickers being merged in iMessage though.

anyone else have the experience as me where you are watching a video and an alarm goes off, your spatial audio is "turned off" (because you can hear the audio quality change) but when you go into the volume menu to turn it back on, it says it's on but it isn't. So I turn the setting off then back to on (fixed or head tracking) then it will be normal again.

Hey after updating, while i am trying to use wifi it shows iphone is not connected to internet ,then when switch to mobile data it is working .
When i turn on both wifi and mobile data it only connects mobile data . While in my other phone wifi is working fine.
I even reset the network settings, but still same

now if they could backtrack the photos app update lmfao. some of it is cool. but the huge blocky albums taking up a whole row are such a waste of space. at least put two in a row. i miss the old simple & more condensed version 🤧
They also fixed offloaded apps in folders not showing up

No. I really do not hope the blindingly massive emojis make their way back into the next update. It’s useless and obnoxious to the point it just adds extra unnecessary space.
Speaking of I say it everywhere, I wish Apple would let us decrease font scalping to smaller than 80%

It overheats easily and often then get hey normal everyday shit right without peeing it in front of the ac, inn in fridge or restarting add waiting ten minutes. Stop putting everything in RAM it's not how you should be using it it should have RAM strictly fur the one thing you're doing at that time with s secondary that keeps all your recent apps fresh and ready. 98% RAM use as the norm is not norm

Siri is getting a little better thank God, it worked be great for her to recognize what the fuck I'm saying a little better, i mean in the days of ai machine learning and personalized everything How does it not understand what I'm telling it yet. GPT integration is ok at least i can talk normal then to it. It still can't properly control missy phone aspects and simple requests like read me this message are not that hard to accomplish for Chris sake. Oh and can you please please make it so that custom voice commands and custom gestures can be triggered by something else like a shortcut in general or a specific actions added for it so that i can set up a series off recorded voice commands trigger by an automation event. So like when i arrived at my work location it triggers the automation to go to the recorded voice commands and trigger the specified custom commands to run so i can have it open three app, check my wifi and connect to it if it's not connected then open my work app and press the clock in button then return to my home screen

How about making iPhones practical and user friendly? Dot and comma on the main keyboard, numbers on the top, split screen, back gesture, selecting text in the iMessage, improved autofill, improve Dynamic Island. Pausing and resuming videos while recording, swipe down anywhere to unroll the control panel. Who the fuck cares about shit like emojies. It’s time that apple caught up to Android. Stop fussing about non essential stuff
