All the products has good slip to me. The only thing I noticed is I had bad flakes after letting my hair air dry. I could've used too much leave in or styling cream or both. My hair also felt hard on top, but it was shiny. After untwisting one twist, the inside of the twist felt moisturized and soft. It was just that top layer that felt hard. I spritzed water on the rest of my hair to soften the top hard layer. And it was much better. I didn't have to any anything else. I also got rid of the flakes by putting some castor oil on my hair. I would still purchase them again because my hair def felt moisturized, shiny, and smell so good

I feel like i dont even like my hair anymore, i used to do alot of methods(diy african black shampoo, rice water, hot oil treatments)and my grew out alot and i got a silk press and loved it up until wash day.. dont know if its dryness and i need more curl clumping products or if i need a cut, for now im bout to do alot of tlc on my hair and pray for the best, any suggestions?? (i have 4a hair)
4A curly girl here! If the problem is the overall definition of your curls its prolly due to the heat and how often you use heat. Silk presses can be damaging if done too often or if there was no heat protection used. Give your hair a break from heat and protective style it! I found that flat twist really defines my curls. The longer you leave in a protective style the better!
I would definitely recommend “leaving your hair alone” in the sense that you should fo treatment like deep conditioners, oil treatments etc and then put your hair in a protective style. You might probably need a trim as well (i think that will definitely help to make your hair feel better)
Yesss my goal as of right now is to faithfully deep condition my hair every Sunday and hopefully see some improvement, and I cut like 3 inches off so far , hopefully a miracle happens
