How Sandra Bullock Got Brad Pitt to Join ‘The Lost City’

- Sandra Bullock and Daniel Radcliffe dish on their action-comedy ‘The Lost City’ in a new interview with ‘Extra’s’ Special Correspondent Lawrence Zarian. Sandra talks casting Daniel in the role of an eccentric billionaire, plus how her hairdresser was instrumental in landing Brad Pitt for the movie. Plus, since the movie is based on a romance novel, Sandra and Daniel joke about what they would title romance novels about their own lives! ‘The Lost City’ is out March 19.

Just saying, Daniel KILLED his role. I was honestly blown away by specific scenes where he had to be the biggest asshole on the planet, and it was super super believable. Absolutely loved this movie.

Daniel Radcliffe DID get that same reaction from friends of mine who saw the movie before me. They all said something similar: "I was like - oh snap! That's Daniel Radcliffe!!!"; "Halfway through the movie, I didn't even REALIZE that was Daniel Radcliffe"; "Daniel Radcliffe deserves a damn Oscar just for being IN this movie, because I didn't even RECOGNIZE him at first." It really IS great he is not going to suffer from child star pigeon-holing. That would be a true waste of his incredible acting talent!
We had a girls night out dinner & a movie and went and saw it last night. We all LOVED it! It’s funny entertaining and just a good movie! Go see it!!
I've seen Daniel Radcliffe over the years play such a broad variety of roles and kill them all. And he can sing and dance, too (on Broadway). His Cripple of Inishmaan was brilliant. Truly a great actor at such a young age.
Daniel was AMAZING in this movie. I haven't even watched a harry potter and this was WOW! Hes such a good good-looking evil villain! I love it!

I want to see her in some epic movie with, Keanu Reeves, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Jason Momoa like a tangled mess of guys falling for her and vying to win her love comedy, drama, extreme antics. I think it would be hilarious and become an instant rom-com cult classic in no time. Because who doesn't not like all of them?

This movie was SO GOOD!
BUT I didn’t see one single commercial or ad for it AT ALL! I only saw the movie cuz I was at the theater YESTERDAY and saw a poster when deciding which movie to see. Otherwise I would have never known it existed!
Whoever did the PR on this really dropped the ball as I was totally the target audience for this movie..

Daniel Radcliffe is a bit like the Johnny Depp of our time. Insanely popular as a young actor - and then has tried really hard ot be good at the craft, choosing roles that stretch his ability rather than be popular.

I love that Dan is having fun acting and grew out of being pottah but still has time to talk about that as well
I think its because he respect the people around him, very good adult actor, and it made him respect his own pottah character. So he remembered the fondness of all pottah things. ‘Harry Potter’ doesnt defines him, but a catapult for himself to pursuit acting more. I admire him for that, for his pursuit in defining ‘I am actor but I also Harry Potter’. We know a lot of actor hate their own character, and Dan’s approach is something else.

It is one of the few movies that makes me think of Romancing the Stone and made me want to se Brad Pitt in an new action movie.
