In the Book Club edition of The Shining, the backside of the book is entirely green, but on the actual first edition, first printing, the cover art stretches all the way to the back. nice collection! I've read a fair number of Stephan king novels including all the dark tower books.. I can't recommended this series enough. it's in my opinion the best series of books I have read and I have read hundreds of books including many series' s of books. anyways the books are the foundation of almost all of Stephan kings collective works. it's main characters name is roland deschain the last gunslinger and he is the ultimate badass of all badasses. the first one is slow the first half but the second half gets better and all the following books are wonderful I hope you read it
I don't know about the USA but here in the UK used books are very cheap now. I got 22 King books for £25 including delivery. That is like $35 in your money and there very good condition and 3 are large hardbacks.

From a Buick 8 is not a good read!! One of his books that I found quite boring in fact, IT and The Stand are his best two novels by far 😎👍🏻
Try to read "The Dark Half", this is definitely one of the best his books.
