And it became more clearer to Ubisoft when Prince of Persia was box office hit movie than the AC, so they knew that if they continued with the POP title they would have to shut down Assassin's creed... They chose AC over POP because the AC has no firm storyline, the game goes wherever they want it to go, which is really very boring...and already too much money was spent on AC as it was open world game all along! But really, what happened to POP is a tragic...

I love how you can see distinct elements of systems and era in the games. God of war 1 2 have the same aesthetic as the trilogy on ps2, the chains of sparta and other psp titles look a lot like the psp games of PoP
