Please change the curtains. They need to be much fuller. Way too small for the window. Look at inspiration pictures, you would ever see curtains stretched like that.
I will be getting two more panels to make it fuller
You can get peel and stick baseboard trim to help cut costs. That's what I plan to do for my bedroom redo this spring..

Agreed!! ❤ My mom always said that you should double the width for the right amount of fullness. But as long as they aren't flat, it's good!
Actually,the two dark dressers make a nice contrast to the rest of the room,just try some dark “Olde English” scratch cover on the small dresser,they may cover up nicely.(natural wood furniture is back on trend now) (Agree with others about needing another pair of curtains)

Lighter colour is helpful if one suffers from depression. Your floor covering will make your bedroom look bigger .its so nice that you have your grandmothers item is on display. Old and new are always a winner with interior designs

May I suggest that you paint the ceiling too. It looks pretty dingy compared to the newly painted walls. It will really make a difference and look much fresher. Love the blue on the walls and the new bedding. You did a good job on the flooring and it looks really nice.

You need another pair of curtains in the bedroom to make it fuller. I usually put sheers in the middle to let sunlight

I would have taken those strips on all the wall that are in majority of mobile homes. It helps the overall look SO much! Anyway juat a breath of fresh air congrats on your new space🎉

Everything looks so light, airy, clean and fresh!!! You and Aaron are spot on with everything you chose to do in your home! It shows folks don’t need to spend thousands of dollars or go into debt to get the look they want!
I’m sure you’ll love the flooring instead of the carpet too! Especially with the cats and Chloe! As you know we have 10 dogs and 4 cats and I can’t imagine having carpet with all the animals running around the house! We use potty pads in the winter/cold months here for our chihuahuas (usually because we get so much snow and there’s no way their little feet and bodies can get through the snow). It helps so much to have flooring so it’s easy to mop up especially if Chloe has accidents which is inevitable when your pups get older❤❤❤.

The bedroom looks great ,you said you got 2 boxes of flooring left it would look good to put it in your bathroom so it matches with your bedroom so it all flows together.
Our bathroom already have marble peel and stick in it and I feel it would be a waste to cover a perfectly good floor. We plan to use the extra for one of the other bedrooms :)

you guys did a great job. When I lived in a mobile home, we put the subfloor on top of the old as well because we didn't have the expertise to rip it out and put new in so I totally understand that Poor Erin with his health issues was not able to rip that out and put new down. Definitely, anything that can make it easier on him with his issues. Can't wait to see it with the lights, nightstands, and the dressers redone. Oh and that bed.

If you decide not to use tiles on the chest maybe try polycrylic. I put it on a chest in our foyer and it’s never scratched and no drink rings, from when we put a drink down while taking off or putting on shoes, in over 8 years.

Room looks great. Only thing is why do you have your curtains so far spread out. It’s only supposed to be a couple inches on each side. It would give you so much more wall space. And in the livingroom so much more room. If you bring in your curtains and your curtains will look so much fuller. Room looks good. I would have painted before putting new flooring down only the wood. Great job.
I'm going to buy more but the answer is when they aren't tied back they fill in the entire rod, it's only when they're tied back that it looks like it needs to be fuller, that's why I plan to get more because I love having them tied back during the day
We would have painted before but Aaron knew that paint would be easier to remove from peel and stick vs if I accidentally got it on sub floor :)
