@DVDandFilmBloke although I do believe in both cases, the puppets were made in-house just for those skits. Although apparently, the puppets from the top gear/swinger's party/rainbow piss bucket skits were used on SNL I think a while back and the puppets were visibly worn out. This Bobby Darvo skit was made back in the 80s back when the rainbow TV show was still being produced. The top gear and other skits were made in the 2000s/2010s. And the comeback the puppets had on SNL I assume, was late 2010.
@@jonthej Actually I do wonder who made the Top Gear/Swinger's Party/Piss Bucket Challenge videos and where the Top Gear one was originally posted as it has been reuploaded quite a few times over the years. "She should check the kebab house on the high street George" I'm dying 😂
I wonder if she’s tried the kebab house in the high street George. I believe that’s what Zippy said mate, just thought I’d correct you

Bobby Davro's impersonation of George is spot on.
There is an episode of Bobby Davro’s Tv Annual that has the Rainbow sketch

@@danielwilliamson6180 the episode is Guess Who I Am.
When the boys came out to play he kissed them to he’s funny that way😂😂😂😂
I remember watching this at the time it was broadcast. The book Bungle reads dates the sketch to 1989. Crikey. 😁

No, the puppets aren’t the same. I don’t think the voice actor is the same either. But they are very similar though.
