Ronnie Le Drew was the puppeteer - Roy Skelton was the voice of Zippy and George. It's been three years since this was published and I can't believe I'm the first one to point this out ITV!!!!
If I'd seen this sooner I would have pointed this out too mate, so good for you for making it clear. Roy deserves some credit too, not to mention his skills as Dalek voices!!
Skelton and Hawkins both voiced the Daleks. A shame they weren't the standard duo for Daleks throughout the classic run of Dr Who, Hawkins voice made them so malevolent.

Istg he is my grandad
Peter Hawkins was first to voice Zippy, then Roy Skelton, then in 1994 Ronnie Le Drew was both Zippy's puppeteer and voice.
I think Stephen Hawkins might have done a good job of Zippy.

Would have suited doing the voice of George.
I thought he would of done his zippy voice
We can all do zippy if we try hard enough :) Imagine a room full of youtubers all blurting out random stuff in their best zippy voice 🤣
This video is wrong. He's not zippy he was the puppeteer..
